Reviews of AeroGuard Flight Training Center
"The training manager, Yuliya, is incompetent. Training manager is the wrong role for her. She picks and chooses when she wants to reply to my emails. This means many ignored emails I have to send multiple times. She jumps to conclusions on things and is overly confrontational. Sometimes she argues for the sake of arguing and just goes on ego trips. Her English is broken, which makes it difficult to understand what she's trying to communicate both in person and via email. I have to confront her numerous times just to get me on the schedule. Every time, she acts like she's going to do something but ultimately sweeps things under the rug."
"Terrible Manager & System. They don't have enough flights. To get PPL , It will take more than 1year Half. It is all Money They don't listen your voice & Complain."
"Downhill and downhill fast. I’ll keep it short and sweet because if I didn’t it would take me hours to write about how horrendous this school is. Yuliya, a training manager, is extremely incompetent and loves to power trip any chance she can get. We were always told if there is an issue, to bring it up to student advising and communication. So that’s exactly what I did. When I brought up everyone else’s and my concern, they turned their heads and told me to leave. You have no say in your life and education once you enroll at Aeroguard. I tried to send emails, calls, texts, and even talk face to face with Yuliya, but she’d ignore me or give me a bland answer and say she had something to do. Only time I’ve ever heard her be helpful is when it will benefit herself. Save your money and time and go anywhere else. I wouldn’t wish this flight school and its services on my worst enemy. Good day."
"Needlessly flying in circles over densely populated residential areas for hours on end.. Endless stream of random single engine propeller driven planes... Plenty of wide open area for flights, these clowns choose residential areas, every time. i've been here over 20 years, in the same house... Designated practice areas? Who designates them? Where are these designations published? Who participates in choosing them? Less populated areas? There's over 5000 homes in this area... What would be less populated to you? Be a good neighbor? What does that mean to you? Flying directly over head of homes , disrupting an otherwise peaceful existence every 5 - 7 minutes with another flight..to go fly in circles... Looking at flight logs of paths taken previously, your students CHOOSE to fly over this area... There's no shortage of wide open area, well outside of the class B space , away from the Luke AFB range, and any other restrictions...... 1/25 - N749PA - Aeroguard plane flying in circles over residential area, performing training, creating excessive engine and propeller noise ... nothing like an hour of buzzing because you feel entitled to fly wherever regardless of impact to others.. thanks guys!"
"1.This agency does not understand immigration differences (I say agency because unfortunately this interaction with an individual is a reflection of the company) 2.Individuals lack communication skills necessary for a relaxed and accepting testing facility 3.Individuals lack knowledge of PSI regulation in regard to different immigration status bordering on being discriminatory Unfortunately we had an extremely irrational interaction at AeroGaurd testing center today! Upon arrival my husband realized he forgot his drivers license in the vehicle and ran out to fetch it. Recognized this is prior to his exam while checking in. He arrived more than 30mins prior to the exam time. There was ample to time to correct this issue. As the check in continues the lady asks him whether he is a US citizen to which he replies “no.” From this point forward the interaction went south very quickly. PSI requires non-citizens to hold a foreign passport but what the desk lady missed was that he was a resident alien for which PSI requires only drivers license. Those who understand immigration. A resident alien is not a citizen but holds most qualities of citizenship. Not the same thing though. She refused to accept my husband’s drivers license as identification in order for him to take the exam. Background: This is his second time taking the test, he is already stressed about it, things are escalating and I arrive at the office in an attempt to mediate. The previous testing center where both my husband and myself took the private pilots test without any secondary form of ID. Drivers license only while being resident aliens. I arrive. I try to find out what is going on and the lady refuses to talk to me or show me the sheet for accepted form of ID. She tells me “she cannot communicate with me because I am not the applicant.” So let’s just think about this she is refusing to talk to me, a client with a valid inquiry, so I can help to situation and point out that there has been a mistake in communication she won’t even let me say a word. She tries to verify the address which according to PSI needs more verification. I have a private conversation with my husband about maybe getting a bank statement ready that way we are in compliance. She barges into the conversation stating that she doesn’t need anything and once again is extremely rude. Now even more she takes my husband’s endorsement from his previous exam and scans it in while he is figuring out his ID situation. Then he asks for her to return the endorsement. She refuses to return his endorsement or even help look for it. He unpacks his entire backpack onto her desk proving he does not have his endorsement and she tells him that she has no idea where it is and refuses to look for it on her side of the desk even after asking nicely. At this point my husband is starting to lose it. The rudeness the abrupt responses and failure to communicate or even listen to the correct information from our side was astounding. He has a slight outburst and tell him to calm down. I have not had an interaction like this in a very long time. Especially with someone who is supposed to be making a relaxed environment for test takers. Finally we provide her with his foreign drivers license and somehow this is an acceptable form of ID according to her. Not according to PSI though! My husband calls her rude and she says “for following the rules” which she absolutely was not and after a lengthy communication with PSI she handled the application inappropriately in more than one regard! Other test takers are waiting in this room while she behaves this way all because of a simple miscommunication and refusing to even listen to what we had to say and refusing to provide any information to questions. My husband goes into his test after all this and her making us go back and forth for over an hour. He is half an hour late into his exam, extremely distraught and her comment is “we make it very easy to take the test here.”"
