"I went to this school for seventh grade and it was amazing. It's a good school, to some. Others that don't really have many friends say it's a bad school but tbh there's some kids that will try to be friends (with the kids that don't have friends & say it's a bad school) and they will shut them away. I got along with everyone just fine. I mean there was drama with everyone for about a month but we all grew so close together after. Academic wise it's good, if you pay attention. Teachers ask everyone for those who need help and try to help out. The teachers have a little bit too much patients sometimes. The teachers make everything (learning wise) so fun. School dances were really fun. The cafeteria, you can sit outside or inside, but there's really long lines for school lunch. The hallways are a little confusing on your first day but around your 2nd week it's easy. If your going to go to this school I advise you to 1. Pay attention and write your notes good 2. Try and avoid the drama; don't be included 3. Do your best the whole year so you don't worry about not passing towards the end 4. Do good if you want to be in sports 5. Be nice to ALL of the students that's pretty much it ♥️"

"It's amazing how staff and teachers do not take full action of kids using ILLEGAL drugs. Not to mention alot of the teachers are not skilled in what to do whatsoever but they also do not take action when students are fighting or doing drugs. Those who say this school is great your clearly blind. So what your kid says it's good they won't tell you the truth half the time."

"Desert Wind Middle School offers a Blended Learning (20+1 program) environment that is exceptional; this school year (2017-2018) there are 4 teachers for this program, instead of 2 and the redesign of the classrooms is inviting and creative!! Looking forward to a wonderful year!! Go Tigers!!"

"It's been a good school for quite a little bit until I get overwhelmed with the other students over these years. The almost half of them are unfriendly and mean. But in the other hand, they've been nice. In 8th grade, it's a perfect time to make a lot of friends over there unless they have in common. Other than that, all teachers are nice, and I felt special at that time. Honestly, they've put me on an ESS class which simultaneously made me special and had me on the right track. The 21st Century after school programs help a lot for me to focus more on throughout. Overall, it's an okay school in my opinions. By the way, I'm currently about to become a sophomore."
