Reviews of The UPS Store
"The older woman with short hair was rude she told me they could not provide me tape and would only do it for me this time. When I asked them if they provide me a receipt for the package I dropped off they told me they don’t do this at this location and to take a picture of the label. Very rude needs better customer service."
"There's a blonde woman with short hair working there whom I've never seen before. I've been to this location a few times since I moved to Tucson, and the two girls who have worked there were amazing. However, this woman was the rudest person I've ever met. I went in with three rugs, one delivered in plastic. She told me that UPS might not take it because it's not packaged. I explained it was packaged but not in the typical way you'd define it and that it didn't come in a box. She said she'd call me if they refused, but I said it's okay, I'll take it to another UPS store. I asked her to scan these two other items for Amazon, and she refused, saying to do it at the other UPS store. I explained it was too heavy for me to carry back again. As she walked away, I tried to talk to her, but she decided to stop helping the other customer and hide. I started talking to the other lady because I was genuinely confused. I don't understand this treatment. I wasn't rude; I even apologized for any inconvenience. Yet, she ignored me, acted like a petulant child, and walked away. Then I saw her grabbing the phone. I asked her, “Are you even going to answer me or try to talk to me? I don’t understand, what did I do? Are you being racist?” She continued to ignore me and then told me that she had called security. I didn’t understand what I did. Why would she call security? And then again I see her grabbing the phone and this time I hear her talking to security and telling them that I’m in the store. Like wow!!! I was not advised to leave. I wasn’t even being communicated to. I’ve literally never been treated like this ever. All she said, as she walked away from me initially, was “I wasn’t a paying customer and she didn’t have to help me.” Does Amazon not have a contract with UPS owners? But I guess because she was the owner, she had this right to treat me in such a horrid way. The only thing I can understand from all this is that this woman is 100% racist or just a lunatic. I walked out in disbelief. Never in my life have I been treated in such a way. So far, this has been a very pleasant store, up until this woman. If she's their boss, I feel sorry for any employee because she's straight-up evil and should not be interacting with any customers. There's another UPS a couple of miles away, and I highly recommend that you spend your money there unless you want to support a racist. By all means, continue to come to this place where this blonde white woman thinks it's okay to treat other people who are different from her and also intelligent like trash to exert her power over them. I'm incredibly upset; I was just just sitting in my car unable to drive because I can’t stop crying. I never imagined encountering such negativity from people who still harbor such toxic attitudes in environments where individuals should feel respected and valued, not belittled by their ignorant and racist behavior. Regarding the image I posted, I explained that this was how it was packed and delivered to me. She kept insisting that it's from Amazon and not properly packaged. I expressed my confusion. Sensing her confusion, I felt better taking it to another store because I didn't trust her. My gut feeling was 100% right because she turned 100% psycho on me. I began talking to another customer she was assisting, and she walked away and decided to call security without even telling me; I was legitimately confused. I wasn't hostile; I was calm the whole time, and she didn't even ask me to leave. So why would she call security? I've never had security called on me before, why would she ever put me in that category? She made me feel like a criminal when all I did was emphasize that this is also a package."
"I have read previous reviews. It looks like I was lucky :). I dropped by the store to print some document and send it via mail. I was greated by a cute dog - it is so sweet when an employer affords employees to keep their fur babies nearby all the time. A lady - a UPS associate - was patient, kind and helpful. I was even suggested to pet the dog. Nice experience absolutely!"
"The owner (lady that was dressed like she is doing movies at home on a Sunday) was extremely rude to the client before me and asked him to leave while he was only waiting for an UPS email to go through. Then for me, I asked for a receipt and she said with a rude tone that they were a eco-friendly store so no receipts. I will do the extra miles for another location."
"I love this location! Merry and crew are very nice and pleasant. I've used this location quite a bit for Amazon returns, and I'm so glad Amazon and UPS started the "QR code drop-off program." It takes me less than 60s to do such a return like this. I've also used a bit of other services here before. It's conveniently located in downtown as well for quick access. Highly recommend this location for shipping services !"
