FedEx Ground

"If I ever have an issue with packages being delivered to me, it's always because it was sent via FedEx. Every package in recent memory that has been sent via FedEx, except one, has missed their expected delivery date by several days for one reason or another. Yet the competition seems to have no issue delivering at the time they tell me. If I ever ship something out, I actively avoid using FedEx and if companies give me the option of who I want them to ship to me through, I never pick FedEx even if I have to pay a little more for the competition. Left two stars because at least the packages always make it to me eventually, so there's that. Also, now that I'm thinking about it, the delivery drivers for the competition are always nicer and more careful with the packages and where they deliver them. They'll even brave my barking dog to get them into a safe spot whereas I've had FedEx just drop my deliveries right in the middle of my driveway for me to almost run over when I get home or just chuck them over my 8 ft fence, not knowing whether or not the contents are breakable. Just anecdotes from my experience. Your mileage may vary."

"These guys are very helpful. First of all,last evening I got a call saying that my package couldn't be delivered because it was in risk of being stolen by porch pirates. So they advised me to come on down the next day to FedEx ground to pick up my package which I've just done it all worked out rather seamlessly. I appreciate the thoroughness of it all."

"Poor service. Save yourself the heartache and use another company. I waste 2 full day trying to get my package, I sat in my living room right by the door I didn’t move for hrs since they claim they tried to deliver the day before. No tag was left on my door either but it was updated online that attempts made to deliver. I continue to wait then online status change to attempt made and customer not available, I was home. I was told by customer service that they came to my Apt gate and turn back. My number is on the package and since it’s the 3rd time as they claim why didn’t they call me. I call back customer and they were very rude saying I should wait. Package was paid for to be delivered on Friday wasn’t received until Monday. Delivery drivers need to do better and atleast put out an effort to do their job properly, the service is not free people paying for it."

"Kudos to the worker who called me when a Fedex pick-up spot refused to accept my package because it was too big. She called me to ask where else they could deliver my box. I asked her if I could come to get it at the ground warehouse which happened to be closed on Sunday and she said “ yes “ She went above and beyond to get my package delivered to me before it would have been sent back. Great job!"

"Fedex didn't even attempt delivery before giving up in my rural area and saying they couldn't locate my address, even though I posted a sign up for them!! Had to go to Tucson to retrieve my package. Kinda negates online shopping experience for this household. My husband is physically challenged and to go places hurts so we order online. Hmm.."
