"I loved the first year of this school that we attended. The first year they learned so much about our country and obviously liberty. I felt it had stood up to the name. This year however I learned from other moms that the above grades were all extremely behind in their studies. My children were also falling behind. Week after week I asked for the work that had been done so I could follow their academics and what they were learning so I could help them if needed. I didn't receive any work all year but my child brought home a huge 3 in. file full of the work they did. He was behind. He was doing 2nd grade work when it should have been 3rd grade.my child wasn't the only kid in class that was behind. Apparently the whole class was behind according to the teacher. She didn't offer any type of game plan on how to effectively get them up to speed. Class sizes are small so they shouldn't have been this behind. Let's talk about korah. It was apparently the only focus this year. One parent said her child felt pressured enough to have money to donate that money was stolen from moms purse. No child should be pressured enough to donate that the only way they felt they had money was to steal. Classes were competing against each other to make the most of money to donate to korah. The end of year program I was unimpressed I felt that the kids were all exploited to benefit korah. That was the whole program-korah. Now don't get me wrong I'm glad we were able to learn about service but the way the academics were handled. The focus wasn't on our own. We shouldn't be paying for private school and sacrificing so much for us to have to catch up our children so they won't be behind for the next grade. The school was amazing I just think the owners pride of korah got carried away. Hopefully that changes for those who are attending next year...."
"This school is such a blessing to our family. There are so many positives that I cannot name them all. We love the smaller school environment. My daughter feels like the teachers and classmates are more family than merely friends. We love the emphasis on the individual and the central focus on Christian values and discipleship. This school teaches to the full student: academic, emotional, and spiritual. Amazing place!!"
"I love Liberty Youth Academy! My children had great experiences at this school and I highly recommend it to any family looking for a better education for their child. It was so refreshing to send my children to school where education is Christ centered. My children excelled academically and spiritually here. The director, teachers, and students are all wonderful. It was such a blessing to find this gem of a school. They offer summer camps too that can give you a small taste of the experience, but they don't compare to the full year experience. Such a great school!"
"My sons have been in attending this amazing school for the last six years. Words cant express enough my appreciation and the growth that we’ve seen with our boys during this time. When I first heard what the cost of the school was I was a little concerned. Now, knowing what I know, I would pay double for the life experiences they have received and learned through their tenure at Liberty Youth Academy. The most important relationships we have in this lifetime are with our heavenly father and our Savior Jesus Christ, I feel like the children at Liberty Youth Academy are learning this at a young age. I strongly recommend LYA to anyone looking to raise great children."
"I feel like the bad review posted for Liberty Youth was agenda driven or that person is going through a difficult time and lashing out. There's got to be way more to the story that's missing. I find it difficult to believe the owner would ever act so unkind. She is a beautiful and generous person who created Liberty Youth because she loves the Savior our country and freedom. Shes concerned about the future and is doing her part to help raise a community of youth who will stand as witnesses of God and protect the freedoms He's given us. Its been a blessing to get to know her. She was willing to work with me and always addresses my concerns immediately. I feel like I could contact her at 3 in the morning and she would answer!! I am so grateful for this school! My kids love love going here!! They pretend they're not sick so they don't have to mis a day. I am a homeschooling mom of five and I am so grateful I can trickle my kids in and out when I get overwhelmed because of my husbands demanding work schedule."
