"Our child attended ALA Gilbert South for two years and loved the teachers. As parents we appreciate that our child is excited about going to school each day and enjoyed wearing his uniform. The facilities are new and the teachers are excellent. Good value for pre-k. The RAISE leadership values espoused on their website do not transfer through to the administration. Communication with the administration and Board are poor, at best. The Board didn't even bother to reply to our written concerns. We saw three principals is the span of two years. Mrs Frame was excellent but is no longer with ALA. Child custody is a clear priority but only lip service is paid to health and safety. Their compliance with States mandated public health protocols during the pandemic was a pick-and-choose approach. We are fortunate to have many excellent schooling options here in Gilbert and we feel most of them are better than ALA."

"I was never a charter school person until I toured ALA Gilbert south. I love the energy by the front office staff, the curriculum, the teachers are amazing and always so positive, they care about the kiddos and set reasonable expectations. We left CUSD and have no intentions of returning. My favorite thing about ALA is the leadership they are instilling in all of these young minds."

They have been getting great grades, their teachers are the best, and there are so many after-school activities they can be involved in. "My wife and I (and our two daughters that attend) absolutely love EVERYTHING about ALA Gilbert South! ALA was there for their student’s families, having the courage to stop listening to the scare tactics of surrounding school districts and open up IN PERSON on August 17th and the students are thriving! (Looks like they were right) This school has a very Pro-American feel and visible Patriotism. The values that are instilled at home are reinforced at ALA instead of the opposite. They say the Pledge of Allegiance everyday (We had an issue with a teacher not doing the pledge at the CUSD elementary school our girls transferred from, and the teacher lying to my face about why they weren’t). My kids LOVE their teachers and are doing great. My only regret is that I didn’t find ALA sooner, or my children would have started there! Thank you ALA!"

"I'm a mom of 5. I've never had to move a child from one school to another but when we had a difficult situation at our neighborhood school, I looked into switching our son to ALA. The staff at ALA was amazing from getting us in for a tour to signing up for school. We've been at ALA for almost a year. I feel & see that they genuinely care for families. I can see that the staff at this location works as a team and I have personally seen Mrs. Frame often working alongside her staff. When you create an excellent work environment, it trickles down and my child is having a wonderful experienced at ALA! My child has been challenged in his strengths and weaknesses in both education and personal behaviors through the RAISE structure ALA has created (Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Service & Excellence). I highly recommend ALA schools."
