"My two sons have been attending PHA for several years and my wife and I have been very pleased with their experience at the school. The Judaic studies teachers are particularly wonderful, teaching our sons to a high level of academic standards and, more importantly, imbuing them with a genuine love of Judaism and Zionism. Most of our secular teachers have been superb as well. Overall, we have found the school to to be a warm and welcoming environment, inclusive of diverse Jewish families. The atmosphere at PHA is supportive and communal, the class sizes are small so kids get a lot of focused attention, and our kids feel really comfortable and secure going to school each day in the small school setting where all the students and staff are familiar to them. My sense is that the while PHA does not have all the fancy resources of larger Jewish day schools in the coastal communities, the trade off is an emphasis on quality of character in the students and staff and the uniquely loving/familial environment you can only get in a smaller school."
"I went to school here back in the 70's. Good times!"
"The front desk receptionist is extreamly rude. For a school that gets so many positives reviews I am shocked at the bad attitude I received. Huge turn off and I will not reccomend this place to ANYONE. First impressions are important. You all should consider revising your receptionist."
