Reviews of Hidden Hills Elementary
"My son attended hidden hills in kinder but is now in 8th grade. Mrs.gaeke was an AMAZING principal and Mrs.Lefever was amazing as well. After reading all these reviews i will not be transfering my son from larkspur. All of you who rated one star should definitely take your kids to larkspur. They are friendly and keep in touch on your childs progress. Make the switch!! So sad to know that what was once an awesome school is now garbage mostly due to one person..the principal!!"
"If I had the option to give this school 0 stars, I would. If you are a parent looking for a school for your child, look elsewhere! This school is worse than any school I have ever come across. The only saving grace at this school is the teacher named Mrs. Rea, she is AMAZING, and is the ONLY good thing about this school. My daughter has gone here for 4 years now, and has been bullied for 3 of those years. Adults don't punish the bullies at this school, they punish the victims. My daughter was almost jumped during lunch by a group of over 10 girls, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF AN ADULT, and the adult did NOTHING to stop it, and that was just TODAY! After that my daughter ran to the bathroom to hide, was followed in there by the group of bullies, and was screamed at so loud that a teacher came in to see what was going on. But, the teacher wasn't interested in protecting my child, the teacher told the bullies to take the fight outside. How ridiculous is that? Last year one of those same bullies physically attacked my child, they started kicking her while her back was turned (since they are cowards), punching, elbows, kicks, everything, and my daughter was the only one who got into trouble. She had bruises on her legs and on her back. So, why would you want your child to go to a school that supports bullying? The kids are bullies, the teachers are bullies, it's just not worth it. After what happened today, my child is NEVER going back to this school. She used to love school, and Hidden HIlls ruined that for her. I hope you all are very proud of yourselves over there. I get that the budget is gone, but to treat kids like they don't matter is complete BS! Hidden Hills, I suggest you CLEAN HOUSE (aside from Mrs. Rea), and start over with staff that actually care about kids and want to be there."
"My oldest goes to school here and my youngest will next year. I couldn't be more please with the school. The teachers are amazing and the staff is helpful and friendly. I have never heard anything about bullying. I'm sure there is some as this is a school filled with small humans but that happens everywhere. My son is flourishing and couldn't be any happier. Great School."
"I went to Hidden Hills from Kindergarten to Sixth Grade. I loved my expirence and a lot of the teachers know me. I loved that school. Then, the principal I had, Mrs.Geake, and many others retired from that school. The new principal, Mrs.Murray, is not good. She, when me and my friends go to pick up our siblings, doesn't let us do anything but wait in front of the office, outside. We have to wait for 15 minutes before their bell even rings for them. We can't even get a drink from the water fountain!!!!!!!! And, my brothers are getting bullied by this one kid named Rider!!! Their classmates are horrible! They steal my brothers stuff too!!!!! Even out of their backpacks!!!"
"I would not want to put my child in Hidden Hills Elementary School ! My Best Friends Son Attends this school. The staff at this school does not know how to Handle Children that Act out (ADHD) or have issues of any kind. When a Child has Lost two People in 1 months time, The should not be put in the Intervention room all Day with Nothing to do but sit in a corner. The School called his Mother and told her they were having trouble with the son. But told her NOT to come to the school and pick up her child.. What is wrong with those People????? They do not have the training to deal with Children At All in my Opinion.!!!!"
