Therapy Tree

"My son has been going to therapy tree for over a year now, So far the therapists he’s had are amazing and he loves it. The only issue I’ve come across since coming here is finding appointments. He was in a weekly schedule but since his therapist left it’s been hard to get back in."

"Edit to add: I really wanted to like this place but several things have rubbed me the wrong way. First, it’s extremely difficult to schedule an initial speech therapy appt. The front desk isn’t able to schedule appts so they transfer you to the “referral department” who NEVER answers their phone and NEVER calls back. I had left 4 voicemails in 1.5 weeks even though their VM says they’ll call back within 24 hours. After calling the front desk every single day telling them I’ve left 4 VM with no call back the front desk lady finally scheduled my sons initial appt (after 4 weeks of trying). My son had his first 2 speech therapy sessions this week and I was less than impressed. The lady didn’t tell us her name/ introduce herself and didn’t explain what she would be doing in the session. In the 30 min sessions all she did was play toys with my son. She didn’t work on sounds, words or anything. I do a better job at home working with him. Considering they are charging me $110 per 30 min. session (after insurance), I called to switch therapists and the front desk lady had the audacity to tell me that it’s MY responsibility to tell the therapist what I expect out of the session. She told me that I need to tell what I want to work with them and that I need to tell the therapist what i want his goals to be… Excuse me?! I’m going to be giving the new therapist a shot but if they’re like the first person I am pulling my son out and going elsewhere. *Original Review* It’s been impossible to schedule my son his initial appointment even though his pediatricians referral was received. There’s no issue in getting through to the front desk but for some reason they aren’t able to schedule appts. The referral department they transfer me to never answers their phone and doesn’t return voicemails. I’ve left 3 voicemails and submitted 3 online request forms but still no call back."

"My son and I are new to Therapy Tree and have been extremely impressed with the staff in particular Erin and her team with Rosie. Her commitment and devotion to helping my child and passion for all children shows greatly. If only every parent could spend time with her they would feel her care and confidence in parenting. "Therapy Tree is a wonderful place for young children to receive services. My daughter has been going there for speech and occupational therapy for close to 6 months. Every staff member we have had contact with as been very professional, warm and compassionate with my very young child and myself. Her OT therapist, JAIME, is INCREDIBLE. "There are many kids receiving speech therapy here which makes scheduling appointments a bit difficult but not impossible. You just have to be on top of it and always call to see if there are any cancellations. Besides that, everyone has been great! We’ve been going about 3 times a week with a couple of different therapists and he has fun with everyone but absolutely loves Ms. Jessie! She’s just super sweet and makes sure to tailor all sessions according to my son’s needs/interests."
