"Really impressed with the service would highly recommend Lorraine"
"Mostly, since 2020 I have experienced a number of traumatizing events that have left me under an incredible amount of stress and pressure. I had been functioning the best I could, but recently added stressors left me feeling as if I was collapsing under the proverbial last straw. A dear friend gave me Meira Greenfeld’s information and raved about her ability to help her clients deal with trauma. To be clear, she did not coddle me and tell me everything would be fine. I can and do get that from friends and family - for free. But what she did do was help me gain better perspective of each situation, how they were affecting me, my roles, and what I can and cannot control, amongst other things. After just one session, I felt a huge release of the pressure I was feeling. She also helped me begin developing strategies and tools to deal long term with trauma and traumatic situations. I know it will take diligence and time to work through my “stuff”, but I am finally hopeful and, even, confident that, with Meira’s help, I can achieve and maintain much healthier mental, emotional, psychological and, as a result, physical states of being. I highly recommend Meira Greenfeld of Urim Recovery!"
"WARNING: (I think her name is Mahirah) Not good for LGBTQ+ or racism-based issues. She claims she’s done activism in both of those aspects but it doesn’t hold: She’s not queer herself, and has a very judgmental view of the queer community. This person either lies about her credentials, or needs therapy herself before she can help anyone else. By far the most unprofessional therapist I’ve interacted with. She charges you to listen to her talk about herself. She says she’s more “direct” than other therapist, but in actuality she just doesn’t know how to listen to her paying client, even after it’s been brought to her attention. A single clarifying question sends her on a defensive diatribe about how people don’t like her; how Michelle Obama went to school with her and didn’t like her; how she’s bff with the writer of CRT- She assumes your part of the conversation, claiming your energy says it all- did we come to a therapist of a fortune teller? I had a major panic attack following our session with her, and I’ve never had one before. If you do give her a chance, make sure you’re getting what you payed for- it’s a lot of money to listen to her talk about her problems."
"I came to this provider hoping to receive a certain treatment. At the end of our initial assessment , her diagnosis for me was to have treatment 3 times a week , which I stated I was unable to afford at this time . Her response wasn’t to negotiate frequency . Instead, she recommended me to an entire different service that I do not need and is not the reason I came to her for a service. She recommended me to a service that was a different problem now to address. I feel it was clearly an issue about money and that she does not approach her practice with trauma informed care."
