Legacy Traditional School - West Surprise is a tuition-free, K-8 public charter school located at 17300 Cactus Road in Surprise, Arizona. We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. Our traditional, back-to-basics curriculum is designed to help students develop important characteristics for success both inside and outside of the classroom. We focus on strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics, while also offering opportunities for students to explore the arts, athletics, and innovative clubs and programs.

Our Half-Day Kindergarten program prepares young learners for school and sets them up for future success. At Legacy West Surprise, we have seen great success with our Back-to-Basics approach to elementary school, including an accelerated pace of Language Arts and mathematics, high academic and behavioral expectations, self-contained classrooms, and bell-to-bell instruction.
