"Awesome school that threw out "core values" curriculum that teaches 3 x 5 does not equal 15. Great principle, staff, and teachers. The only negative is all of the work that is thrown at these elementary kids. If they don't have the parents continually monitoring their work and helping them out, you can be surprised by one of your kids making 4 F's from not turning in work. There is ample help for the students that seek it out, but when I went to elementary school, there was not near as much work to accomplish, and I never, ever, made anything lower than a C. They throw in D's and F's too often, but I can't blame the school too much, just thinking about the effect it's having on children that learn to accept the low grades that are given and not caring too much about them since they happen so frequently."
