"Awesome experience. Eagar to get out and ride again due to weight gain, I brought in my GT mountain bike due to extreme wear on the sprocket and cartridge. I was helped by Basil who was extremely helpful and treated me well. They got my sprocket set, chain, and rear cartridge replaced and derailleur tuned within a week which is what they quoted me. Overall, I was very pleased that this shop set a reasonable expectation of completion, treated me with respect and dignity, and were just as enthusiastic about me getting back out there to ride as I was. I have been to other shops in the valley who did a mere tune and lubrication but really never fixed my problem and treated me like some overweight leper. Fact is, I need my bike to get an extreme amount of exercise or it stacks back on. As a Veteran with metabolism issues, I was very pleased with how this place operates and I will definitely be coming back for service here next time it's needed."

"I generally favor businesses on how they make me feel. A genuine hello and a heartfelt smile go a long ways in earning my business. There are smiles in this business from the front of the store to the back. And from the beautiful work they did on my Specialized Athos, I dropped off another bike, with still more to go as I own 5 bikes. I got 2 tires, chain, cassette, brakes, a tune up and they thoroughly cleaned my bike beyond my expectations. Patrick, Basil, Jaden and Todd - Thanks for the Great Service!!"

"This is a great bike shop with very helpful people and excellent customer service. Scottsdale Bike Co. was selected by my e-bike vendor to assemble the bike. The store manager, Chris, was extremely helpful. He kept in close contact, had the bike ready quickly and when promised, and then on delivery, he took the time to explain everything as I am new to e-bikes. Chris and the mechanic who also worked on the bike are very knowledgeable and willing to share their experience. They also tuned up my wife's regular bike (meaning non-ebike) at a very reasonable charge doing only what was needed. Such an excellent experience, this is going to be our new bike shop."

"Looking at other reviews, it's unfortunate that I did not have a similar experience. Overall, I would not recommend this bike shop due to their poor communication and some of the employee's attitude/demeanor. Context: I bought a 2,200 dollar bicycle and 200 dollars worth of extra parts within the last month. Bad: * I picked up my bike and not all the service I requested was done. * I had to call multiple times to check up on the bike's status because they weren't going to tell me it was going to be late. * I called and they didn't know what the bicycle was in for. * They texted me about some surprise charges even though they should've told me when they took the bike in (it was a standard repair). * Employee told me that the hoods can't be moved given the modern compact bar geometry, which is false. * Employee told me I needed a different size stem (after I had a professional fit and his manager approved my fit), again false. * After I questioned the wrong item (chainrings) they ordered, the employee said something like "he [me] should've told us what cranks these were going on". I bought the bike there and the employee didn't ask any additional questions to understand the issue. Good: * Chris, the manager, is knowledgeable and provided good customer service. * Nothing else stands out that I could point out that isn't a basic function of a bike shop. I felt comfortable working with Chris but when he was not there it was a completely different bike shop. I started taking my bike elsewhere and opted to pay for service rather than inconveniencing the employee. I believe most of the issues I had could've been mitigated by proper communication, be it by just telling me ahead of time or just having simple social skills."

"10/10, absolutely love this place. I had broken a pedal off my e-bike, and unceremoniously dropped by (meaning without calling or making an appointment), and the team got me right in. They ordered the parts and installed the cutest new pedals (that I happened to find while shopping around the surprisingly well-stocked retail area) for me, and delivered on time with every time promise they made. As a bonus, my bike runs 1000% better than it did when I dropped it off. Can’t recommend highly enough."
