"UPS didn't deliver material we needed for a job. They said they couldn't locate address. Tried to call customer service and there is no way to talk to someone. The system doesn't allow it. We ship Fedex from now. At least you can eventually get to a person instead of a computer. POOR SERVICE"
"Update: 1/30/2024 I did received a reply to my review of this UPS delivery hub from the owner... I'm sure it was actually an automated AI response apologizing, and directing me to social media formats where I could find UPS contact information. This provided me with the exact customer service number I had been struggling with for over 24 hours. All I needed to do was correct the delivery address on the package being delivered to me by adding a lot number. After an hour of hassling with a non person on their customer service line, I was finally able to talk to someone that was able to correct the delivery address for my package. Normally UPS is a fairly reliable delivery method but this time they showed how uncommitted they are to actual customer service. A package being delivered to me didn't include a lot number, so it wasn't delivered. I went to the UPS hub customer center and informed the person in the customer center about the address issue and no lot number. He told me the package was out for delivery again, and he then took down the Lot number information and assured me he would pass the proper address information to the driver and my package would be delivered today. The package was not delivered, and the package went back to the hub. UPS customer service is horrible."
"No one answers the phone. It's a stupid automated answering system for which you can get no information out of I will never do business here."
"This is not the first time we been having issues with ups. They sometime leave packgaes on top of our little wall gate and drive away. People can just pass by and grab it. They stop and then drive away then we get message your ups ran into an issue and couldn't deliver package. Box was to big or heavy that they couldn't deliver and we need to dive a 30 min to go pick it up. Oh best ever the ups driver was about to leave again but my brother stop him and ask if there's was a package for this address yes but the box was heavy so instead of the driver asking for help he let my brother get the package himself once he got it off driver left lol best of all we paid for all our packages to get deliver. So my question is if we're getting charge for delivering our own packages then why charge us, for what's being paid for. Plus most of them get damage so guess we need to get a new one. Lesson learn"
"I honestly don't know how UPS is still in business. Here is my latest experience to sum up the company. I am supposed to receive a package on Friday which requires my signature. I know I will be at work late so I attempt online to have the package held at the local UPS facility so I can pick it up myself. Interestingly, you can't change the delivery like that until AFTER they attempt at least once. The procedure is to take the number off the slip the driver leaves at the door and update the delivery online. I get home from work and the driver apparently neglected to leave the slip on my door so I have no number to update the delivery with. I call on Saturday to change the delivery over the phone. Well, apparently staffing a call center over a weekend is too much to ask of UPS. So I call on Monday. First attempt I get a representative that I can't understand very well because they are very low volume like their mic is far away from their mouth. He finally understands what I want and then the line disconnects. Second attempt the call is disconnected as soon as the representative answers. Third attempt I get a representative who is almost impossible to understand because she has an accent and is mumbling. She fixes my issue though. I've shipped and received a lot of packages. I always avoid receiving from UPS if I have the choice. When I ship I have literally only found UPS to be the cheapest option once. Once out of hundreds of packages I've sent. For large/heavy items FedEx is cheaper, faster, and has better customer service. For small/light items USPS is best."
