"Drove 30 miles and took my 6 year old son to the Topps Rip Night. We arrived 3 hours early to get a good spot for my son to meet Kevin Durant. The shop owner talked to me and my son about being able to talk to, and even ask KD a question. My boy was nervously excited! When KD showed up, it was pure chaos. They wanted kids (14 and under) up front. However, these 14 year olds, that were clearly much older than 14, took up the entire front row making it impossible for my son to even see KD. He was heart broken. The shop owner did a terrible job at crowd control making it a night to forget. Especially after seeing other card shops post orderly success from Topps Rip Night. I doubt I'll be a returning customer."
"I never formally Left my review! The first day I walked into rip, I knew nothing about the hobby besides general baseball basketball and football knowledge . Brandon and James personally walked me through the boxes I purchased teaching me what to look for and took the time to explain about different products for all sports. And even how to sleeve cards and open the packs! This was the start of something awesome! Rip Valley become a second home for me! Hanging out with the guys and the family on game days and during streams! If you are looking for a clean, welcoming and positive environment whether you are a new to the hobby or an OG this is a great place to be! Need more stores and people like the ones who work at Rip Valley! Since I have left, I can tell the culture still hasn’t changed, with new faces and familiar friends popping into the store during streams and when I visit from Californian!"
"Came into Rip Valley looking for a new card shop as I have recently got back into the hobby. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owner Brandon was super helpful with all kinds of questions I had and was more than willing to spend time to talk to me. I will 100% be back and spending my money here."
"First ever negative review in my life. Honestly 0 stars is what the "owner" deserves. Our family has been to endless card shops all over the country, never had a bad experience. The owner Brandon was completely disrespectful, and completely delusional, and he was just a mess... We came in wanting to buy boxes, and the the owner did not want to deal with our family because he was "busy", but he was actually just looking incredibly pissed off breaking boxes in the back (why have a card store then?). Even after his kids asked him, he still didn't want to come over. He then immediately made false accusations asking if we were "price searching". The owner Brandon then told us how he had been robbed... (In Phoenix?)... And that hes been dealing with debt from breakers who don't pay him back... yikes ... The owner supports his life off breaks it would seem. Also seems he's either been hit in the head one too many times or has had one too many beers. Either way this place is a complete embarrassment as a business and as a "hobby" because of the owner. He also was advocating "Seattle". Were in Phoenix.... Arizona is the opposite of that 3rd world Washington. Which goes to show he's a Seattle hypocrite can't deal with the problems there so he gets a business here. You really shouldn't mess with locals you don't know"
"I collected card until about 13 yrs old and stopped until about a week ago and I'm 37 this week. Just happened to find rip card shop was within walking distance of me. I went and I'm glad I did. Dude behind the counter knows what your looking for and helped me get back into it. His son was working the register and did a great job. Good people, great enviroment!!! I never give reviews but this place really deserved one. See tall soon"
