"I am grateful to be paired with Lauren as my counselor. The whole time I have been seeing her, she has been very in tune with where I am at and has made adjustments to make sure I feel comfortable with the pace of the things that we are working on. She has given me very helpful tools to manage anxiety and emotions that I was able to start using right away. In times when I needed extra support I was able to reach out and make an extra appointment, which has been very helpful. I feel that she really listens well and remembers what we discuss. She very conscientiously works hard to create a safe space and I know that I can trust her to lead me through processing traumatic events. When some of this processing has been too overwhelming for me, she has stepped in right away to help bring me back into recognizing I'm in a safe space. I didn't quite know what to expect with therapy, and sometimes feel overwhelmed by it and unsure if I wish to continue doing the hard work. Lauren has been patient and really helped me understand how therapy will continue to help me find healing and improve my life."
"At first I was hesitant about Telehealth appointments, but it has been working out really great! My daughter loves her therapist, and looks forward to talking with her every week. There was some hiccups with the link on the first couple of appointments but it has been sorted out and the staff has been great about following up and being understanding. Overall this process has been pleasant compared to getting set up at other places and most importantly the quality of the appointments that my daughter has with her there’s has been great and she’s getting the help she needs."
"Horrible customer service and response. Waiting to get a family member into individual counseling. You call and get sent straight to a generalized voice mail and no one calls you back. They waited until the last day of IOP to discuss next steps and we were told it would be a month wait. This is a critical time and they don't care."
"Very prompt with scheduling. Very kind staff. As a guardian of the patient, I just would have loved more communication after the intake as to what next steps were. I had seen via email confirmation that they allowed my 17 year old to schedule their follow up, without informing or asking me. Other than that, all was good!"
"How does any patient actually get an appointment here? Started by trying to schedule online. Called due to the fact that Glendale wasn’t an option. Was told only phone intakes to establish there. Ok—no problem. Selected two different times showing available phone appointments. Both times was immediately sent a text that it’s not available. Called and spoke again to scheduling who quickly pawned me off “to the person who handles that.” Left a descriptive message and asked to please call back for an appointment. That was over a week ago. Attempted a third time taking a slot offered online (each time putting in all my info and insurance) and denied again. I have no idea why other counselors would refer to this place. Shameful for a BH facility."
