"Karen Miller was horrible. I actually left her office feeling more hopeless than when I walked in. I was told by the woman at the front desk, as well as Karen, that she specialized in trauma, but I was met by someone who only spoke to me about Alcoholics Anonymous and AA meetings. I did my best to express my feelings(something that is extremely difficult for me) but was only met with indifference and advice such as: "You are living in a fantasy land. If you want to live in a fantasy land, read a romance novel." I couldn't even get through entire sentences/make my points without being rudely interrupted and told that I was "a piece of work." I am genuinely shocked that this woman is a licensed therapist. I sincerely hope that I am the only person who has had this kind of experience with Karen. I will be contacting Human Resources."
"My experience with Dr. Andrew Lawson changed the entire trajectory of my life. He educated me and gave me tools that I didn't even know existed. Gaining this new level of insight has been liberating and empowering. Thank you so much Dr. Lawson, I could never repay you for the wisdom and clarity that flows through me everyday. You are the reason why I am excited about life again and being able to enjoy it with my son. Scheduling appointments were easy, paperwork was easy, payments were low and transactions were quick. I am referring as many people as possible to this place. Thank you guys for everything , you're an amazing staff."
"Don't See Nancy Wetherell. Completely misinformed for someone in her field. She told me to get a "neurotransmitter test" done to check my serotonin, dopamine, etc. levels. Problem is, that DOESN'T exist. Not an accurate, scientifically credible one anyway. Immediate red flag. I tried asking if she meant some other type of genetic test, but she insisted that's what she meant. She couldn't tell me where I could find this test either. "It's online, just google it." Even asked my psychiatrist and he had no idea what she was talking about. Do your own research and you'll find that a credible, accurate test does not exist. She's offering professional advice on something she does not understand and is out of her realm of professional expertise. This is why she is an LPC and not a PhD or MD. She's also a know-it-all. Very egotistical for someone who considers themselves spiritual. Kinda rigid in her philosophical views and won't hear a skeptical viewpoint. The dynamic is that she has the authority, she knows how all this works and you know nothing. That's why you're there, right? Don't get me wrong, she's not mean or anything. Just ironically lacking self-awareness for a counselor and a lazy approach. One session was all I could stomach. Don't waste your time or money on this woman, you deserve better. It just validates her, only telling her she can continue being complacent in her methods, not needing to try harder or get better at what she does."
"My husband and I were supposed to have our first appointment today with Gail Harper and as we got in the car to start heading over, we get a call to reschedule because she is out sick. If we had more of a heads up or they would at least answer their phones to reschedule we wouldn't be looking for someplace new. How am I supposed to trust them to help my marriage when now I can't even trust them to communicate with us about our therapist being out? Completely unprofessional. I am so disappointed."
