"I was supposes to take 14 classes an MRT class every Tuesday and I finally done all my treatment and all my classes to be told they only show 12 completed Laura Jr told me this. They don't pick up the phone or answer your emails. Now they want 2 more classes out of me. Another counselor is sick and out and two classes we had she was not there (not her fault) . I was told time and time again I would get credit for the two classes well guess what it didn't happen as I suspected? No clue why they are in business they think we are nothing but a bunch of drunks and addicts and move the goal post when they want. I have waited 2 years now and tons of $ to get my license back to be told NOPE two more classes. Just another kick in the teeth! I would not go thru them if you don't need too. They obviously don't keep good records as to how many classes you have taken or if they think your not paying attention. They take advantage of people who are just trying to make it thru life and trying to get better. $ is the name of the game, your a dollar sign is all."

"Laura is incredibly rude I was not being rude in anyway shape or form all I did was ask for a copy of the rules because they were not provided to me as far as their classes go and I was told to take my class elsewhere for asking for something completely appropriate and then hung up on. I 100% do not recommend anybody ever uses their service"

"Extremely frustrated with this company!! Make a smart decision and go elsewhere. I paid and attended 10 classes, $35 each one.They stated based on their records I had only completed 9 classes. So I attended an additional class to finally be done with the back and forth. I was told by Laura Jr that I had to pay for that final class. I sent an email showing proof of the receipts that I had clearly paid for 10 classes….. But yet I’m still being told to pay another $35?!! I guess that’s how this business operates after reading other reviews, smh. You are at their mercy because you’ve already invested the time and money and you simply want your certificate of completion. Take my advice and avoid the headache with Next Step Counseling. P.S. Don’t even try getting upset with them because they will hang up on you and not answer your calls."

"Horrible service, I signed up for a diversion class and teachers did not show up to that class on two separate occasions forcing me to be late on my deadlines and asking for an extension. Once I finished that class they never emailed my certificate and it almost got me suspended from the program. They also have absolutely rude receptionist who have no respect and hang up on their customers. I do not recommend for anyone who is trying to sign up for any type of diversion as this place will dirty your record because of the slack that they carry."

"Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. Have been trying for a week to get records of class completion sent to the DMV, they never sent my records to my lawyer when requested, and all the secretary can do is "leave a note" for the owner Laura who seems not to care about the needs of her customers at all. Do not waste your money here because they will not send proof of class completion to ANYONE you need it to go to."
