"I’m a criminal investigator veteran and had been working with Dr. Abtin for a while. I originally found her services in hopes to aid with marriage counseling. Things seem to be going well at first. Unfortunately, I noticed on multiple occasions she wouldn’t let the pleasantries last. There have been a few unfavorable moments where she would cut me off when speaking and would seem very rushed or somewhat uninterested during sessions. I continued anyway. I noticed that her speech would sometimes imply the opposite of what seem to be going on throughout solo sessions (not always). During my last session with her, she rushed me as usual and when I questioned her about something I calmly disagree with she she acted as if she was gathering her things and stated “I don’t think I am the Doctor for you” while I was speaking. This to me seemed very unprofessional and baneful. I would not recommend her to all though I’m sure she could aid others."

"I have always had professional, appropriate, and relatable experiences while being treated by Dr. Abtin. She has been helping me with issues that have dominated my life, which now are much more manageable. Her analyses of real-life situations and encounters help illustrate her points, as well as help me to see how they may apply to my circumstances. She does have her necessary protocols and requirements as a physician, but once they are addressed and handled, they are done. I can easily recommend her to those who are looking for a partnership in health and healing."

"My wife and I have been seeing the very talented Dr. Abtin for several years - through thick and thin, as people say. We were struggling with politics at our jobs, and we were allowing that to affect our marriage. Thankfully, Dr. Abtin helped us (and continues to help us) work through both! Her military background is impressive and probably lends to how she meticulously and gracefully handles business. She is very efficient and upfront about any paperwork that needs to be completed. In fact, it is seamless and never takes away from our sessions. She has even saved me money when she noticed that my copay had lowered due to my insurance policy changing-- I didn’t even catch that! We always feel that Dr. Abtin treats us fairly and with respect. She is consistent with her policies regarding cancelation, and tardiness. She is flexible when emergencies happen, and is willing to work with us if we cannot make it (allowing phone sessions, etc). Her sessions are conversations, where we problem-solve through story-telling to find our common humanity. She has taught me to listen and empathize, and come to terms with my ADHD and depression. Thank you for your wisdom and kindness, Dr. Abtin. Highly recommend, especially if you need a reality check, like I did."
