"I as well feel that I have found my home... the intensive out patient therapy is amazing and they will match anyone's schedule. I really needed it. I BELIEVE this place has really saved my life. I was ready and they have continued services for me. Reg therapy, psychologist, IOP! In house pharmacy which has done battle with my insurance company multiple times for me and my daughter! They sincerely understand the struggle. Pushing and teaching u how to meet the challenge of addiction/mental health. Accommodating, sincere, genuine, professional, inspiring, kind, and what I needed! Thank u well-being institute! Dr Cai, Nicola, Joe, Robert, Everett, n even u Maddie! ♥ u guys!"
"I'm on state funded Cenpatico insurance and Dr Cai was able to get me in the very next day. This is not like the experiences I've had with other places like Codac or la frontera. He listened well and prescribed the appropriate amount of buprenorphine. He adheres to the strict prescribing policies and intensive outpatient group is required to receive suboxone but the groups are laid back and welcoming. I've never felt out of place or unwelcome. And the best part of all, They will not kick you off the program for one dirty u.a. Dr Cai and the Drs at wellbeing institute truly understand. The counselors really listen to you. They also provide psychiatric medicine."
"Tried to call for an appointment. The receptionist refused to even ask the Dr. if she could fit me in, and didn't even seem to care about why I might be calling to ask for an appointment. I have worked in this field, and this is an unacceptable way to treat a patient. This doctor also used to only accept cash payments for suboxone, which he considered "therapeutic". How is it that not using your insurance you pay for is somehow "therapeutic". Dr. Woolsey is in charge of the CBT, and is an excellent therapist. I actually give her a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, the rest of these doctors are all about the money."
"To counter the negative reviews voiced here, my experience with the Wellbeing Institute has been overwhelmingly positive. The folks at the front desk are super nice and helpful, Dr. Cai truly listened to my problem at intake, and Nicola has always been warm and friendly. I am able to get in the same day for an appointment nearly every time, which you can conveniently request on their website. Regarding the long wait times, if you book an early morning appointment (8 to 10 am), the lag is much less severe. Like ANY doctors office, doctors see a lot of patients and often run behind, sometimes because their PATIENTS are late for their scheduled appointment. Please note, however, that this is definitely a medication-management facility, and thus not the kind of place for you if you're looking for intense personal therapy."
