"My partner is disabled, has chronic pain, mobility issues, muscle weakness, and has been seeing Terri Delaune for several years now. We really can't understate how much we appreciate her advice and work and how it's helping maintain their current condition. Before, we'd seen a physical therapist at another practice that was dismissive and patronizing about my partner's disabilities. It can be hard to find a physician that accepts some people simply do not just get better, and some conditions are complex lifelong challenges. Terri has been nothing but encouraging and thorough in educating us about how to work in exercises and stretching to help ensure their condition doesn't worsen. Over the years, we've tried her many recommendations; sometimes we find a stretch or exercise further aggravates a different part of their condition. Despite this, she never acts like my partner "isn't trying" (verbatim what the previous PT said to us), and almost always has suggestions on how to do the stretch or exercise in a way that puts less stress on their body. She's also given us thoughtful advice regarding making a space less aggravating on a body- my partner is more or less bed-bound at home, and we've applied some good changes to their space because of her. Even when we can't figure out how to make a recommendation "work" for us, the bi-weekly appointments with Terri help immensely. All of the staff has always been very kind, friendly, and very on the ball as well. Cannot overstate how much we love and appreciate this practice. Thank you so much!"

"I have been postponing this writing because I want to write down exactly what I think. The staff at APT has been incredibly helpful, nice, patient, just great overall. I have been a distance runner for over 10 years, and I have battled an injury for over 4 years, I have been to every type of therapy, and I was only getting more frustrated every time, without finding what was wrong. I came to APT for a shoulder injury and ended up not only fixing my shoulder issue but fixing my long time injury! I can run pain free now! Nothing better than that! Also, my mother had a total knee replacement surgery and I didn’t hesitate to bring her to have the same great treatment I had. She is so happy with the care she is receiving. "What an incredible place! Not only do physical therapists work out a tailored exercise program, but the assistants do hand on therapy. They work on neck, shoulders, ribs, back sciatica…whatever the therapist sets up. That treatment feels wonderful not only during that time but after the treatment as well. Then I experienced 20 minutes of heat on my back & neck with electrical stimulation for 20 minutes. I highly recommend Arizona Physical Therapy. The receptionist also calls the day before to remind you of your appointment & calls after first appointment to check on how you are doing!"
