"My family needed to travel from Tucson, AZ to Hermosillo, Sonora on short notice. I was not aware of Hermosillo Shuttles, and the other transportation options were all full. When I called I was promptly helped with all the information I needed to make the travel plans. I had a number of questions and they were all answered, such as the border procedures, the time of arrival, etc. We booked our tickets and everything was right on time. The shuttle took us to Nogales where we were able to get a snack and use the restrooms and then we continued to Hermosillo, stopping one more time for a bathroom break in the VIP rest stop. I really appreciated the drivers, they were friendly, professional, and the driving was safe. We left right on time, we arrived right on time, even though there was a huge storm in Hermosillo and the streets were like rivers. The AC on the shuttles were great, the seats comfortable and the windows tinted to keep the sun off. I liked this service very much and would use them again."
"Well, they answered their phone in the Tucson office, which I was pleasantly surprised by. But the guy on the phone had no idea about the details of the shuttle schedule, travel times, border control, insisting I call the Hermosillo office, then he just hung up."
"On Friday August 23rd, I visited Hermosillo Shuttles location on south 6th Ave. Tucson at 6:50 AM, to find out they open at 7 AM which is painted on the building next to the main entrance door. I returned approximately at 7:10 AM only to find out that they were still closed. I needed to secure a seat for my daughter before I had to go to work, which is why I persisted right at open. I decided to call at 7:13 AM and was told by Jorge that he was busy cleaning and that he would open shortly. After patiently waiting another thirteen minutes I call again and asked if they were opening soon because I needed to make this purchase and go to work, I mentioned I've been waiting, when he abruptly interjects by saying, "Yes I know. And I told you that I was cleaning! If you could just give me a minute!" He opened the doors approximately at 7:30 AM walking out calm as can be and without saying a word, with a small trash bag in his hand which he walked around the side of the building. There was a lady customer there that was just as lost and confused as I was from the unnecessary rude treatment."
"I just returned from a trip to Hermosillo, Their were four Passengers an elderly couple and both used cane and crutches to get around sitting in front from me and a pilot going to Phoenix for flying course and myself. At the Arivaca check point I took my wallet out to show documentation at the shuttle drivers request, They passed us thru without checking our Documents. I put my documentation back in my wallet and sat down with my wallet. on my lap, when we reached Tucson I stood up and inadverently my wallet must of dropped to the floor or to the seat. I grabbed my belongings and was the last person off the shuttle. I then proceeded to grab my luggage from the back of the bus and went to my waiting ride home. We drove about a mile and I realized I did'nt have my wallet on me, I frantically searched for it and also told my ride to go back to the shuttle service which is at 4107 S 6th Ave, as we were driving back I got the Hermosillo Shuttles ticket sales person Jorge on the phone and advised my wallet with my Passport and Az driver's license and $200.00 dollars plus 200.00+ pesos was on the shuttle Jorge then advised me the that the Shuttle had left. He asked me to hold by then I was 2 mins away as this whole episode had'nt taken but 10-15 mins to transpire realize that my wallet was gone and get back to there place of buisness, as I walked up Jorge and Fransisco the shuttle bus driver had my wallet in there hands by then I had disconnected my phone conversation and Jorge continued talking to me on the phone even though I was standing in front of him, after a few seconds he realized it was me watching them go thru my wallet and asked if I was the passenger who lost his wallet. I said i was and he said to me well we found it and I said I can see that but where is the money and he said there was no money in it and I said there may not be money in it now but there was money in it. We sat there going back and forth and I placed a call to 911 to have an officer respond and take a report on the matter, the 911 operator advised me that they don't go out to calls of this manner unless there were any witnesses and both Hermosillo shuttle employees adamently denied there was money in my wallet therefore I had to settle on a callback from TPD within the next 48hrs, Jorge also stated to the driver Fransisco from this day forward there knew "Policy would be that they would deny knowledge of any items left on there Shuttles to avoid any confrontations or accusations"!! There was none of the two it was a conversation any honest business owner or representative of an honest business would have with a customer who just travled 6hrs on their shuttle and lose ther wallet and have it returned by 2 of it's employees minus $200.00 and 200.00+ pesos? What gets me is that Jorge insunuated that I did't have money in my wallet and he also did'nt like the fact that I asked for both there names to file a police report. So basically Hermosillo Shuttle passenger's if you leave any items on there shuttle they will deny knowledge of it so as not to accept responsibility and who know's where your valuable's will end up?? And that my friends is some real crappy customer service, so travel on Hermosillo Shuttles at your own risk!! I will file my Police Report and I know I will probably not get my money back but I will never do Business with such a dishonest company!! I do believe in Karma and that $200.00 and 200.00+ pesos will come back ten fold for the good and BAD Hermosillo Shuttles!!! UPDATE: I decided to call there Phoenix office and speak to a Manager or Supervisor and guess who answers Jorge?? I ask to speak to someone in charge a supervisor or owner of the company, Jorge then proceeds to tell me Sir your trying to make us responsible for you losing your wallet, what he does'nt seem to understand is I dropped my wallet on there shuttle and it was returned to me by 2 Hermosillo shuttle employees minus $200.00 and 200.00+ pesos. He then gave me a number in Mexico and said thats where the owner lives and hung up on me!! Travel at your own risk!!"
"Avoid this company! I paid extra at the Tucson office to have he shuttle take me to my hotel in Hermosillo. The driver in Hermosillo argued with me and wanted me to get out of the shuttle at the office at 11 pm. He eventually checked his paperwork and saw that I was right. He angrily threw his paperwork on the dashboard and took me to my hotel. I don't speak a lot of Spanish, but if I didn't know what I do, I would have been left stranded in a strange place in the middle of the night. The ride back to Tucson was more of the same. When my friend called and confirmed my trip the day before, they said that I needed to be ready at the hotel at 5:20 a.m. No one came for me. At 5:50, my hotel started calling them, but the office wasn't open yet. When the hotel finally got in touch with them, they said that they would not be picking me up at my hotel (which I paid extra for). No one from Hermosillo Shuttles called me to tell me. They were just going to leave me stranded in Hermosillo! The hotel put me in a cab and sent me to the office. When I got there, they told me that the shuttle would leave at 7, not 6 as scheduled. We eventually left at 7:30. The Tucson to Hermosillo shuttle was clean and new, but the Hermosillo to Tucson shuttle was kinda dirty. They have very unprofessional and unreliable service. Next time I will take a Tufesa bus or pay the extra $300 and fly out of Tucson. And even though they advertise that they speak English, the majority of their employees do not."
