Silver Rider Transit

"This happened on Laughlin NV Bus 777, 983, at 1.12 am. on Sep 24, 2023. Driver was a youngish man, dark haired and very rude. We were catching a ride from the Golden Nugget to the Riverside casino The driver had a very bad attitude. Never having ridden with this company, I didn't know either the price or that there was even an over 60 rider discount. He very rudely told me I had to prove I was over 60. I accidentally didn't have my ID on me, so I said I would just pay regular price. He was quite rude and snarky. If you don't like tourists or your job, you shouldn't be a bus driver in a tourist town. His driving was also not suitable for a public bus. He constantly accelerated very fast and then slammed on the brakes at the next stops or traffic lights. This threw the passengers violently around, we had to literally hold on to the rails to keep from getting thrown from our seats."

"I had the worst experience with a very rude driver Norman. As the bus pulled up and the door opened, I boarded the bus since I had no luggage. Norman was loading other passenger's luggage and collecting their fares. When he came onto bus I had my $20 bill ready and told him I hadn't checked in yet. He yelled at me: Then you shouldn't be on my bus!!. Never get on the bus until you check in with me first! I was shocked at how hostile he got over something so small. But I gave a polite apology and explained that I didn't know, since I've never been on this bus before. Then he rudely grabbed the $20 bill from my hand. That should have been the end of it- but Norman felt the need to scold me further and repeat the same thing over again. It was so embarrassing and degrading that he spoke to me that way in front of everyone- and he did it twice after I gave a sincere apology. Terrible way to treat a passenger!!"

"The Las Vegas express shuttle needs to have a way where you can make your own reservations because no matter when you call it could be days out it’s always full or no one answers there is no way of seeing if anyone has cancelled their spot because they are closed on the weekends and after 5pm by the time they open the bus will already be gone"

"No schedules on bus stops, no area code on posted phone number at bus stops, operator puts you on hold and acts like you should already know the information, tourist town with bus service that plays hard to get. Not attractive, not charming, just a bad service. No schedules online either. Old fogies who probably cause several heart attacks in their fellow seniors at these bus stops each year. Stress based operation. @Tfychannel"

"I am currently waiting for the bus in front of the mall. I was very clearly visible at 4:15 when the 7 was coming by. The young woman driving didn't even look to see if there was anyone at the stop. She bypassed and moved to the center Lane to wedge in to traffic just up from the stop. I was standing up waiting for the bus to get to the stop. This is completely ridiculous as the road work doesn't block this stop. This is not the first time I've had this issue with this driver. She doesn't pay attention to stops or those of us who ride the bus. This particular driver is fairly young, short hair, and a little chunky. She needs to be retrained on how to do her job properly"
