"We wanted to celebrate our anniversary horseback riding this year. We had the best time on our private tour. The scenery was really beautiful. The horses were healthy, gentle, and easy to ride. I felt secure and safe throughout the ride, and Russ frequently checked in on us during the trip. He kept us well educated on the local plants, the area, and even showed us some petroglyphs along the way. It was such a wonderful experience. Thank you again! "We chose Trailhead ranch to do a sunset 1.5 hour trail ride while we were in Arizona over the weekend and we are so glad we did! We rode Molly and Bodie and they were both the sweetest, most gentle horses. It was obvious they were very well taken care of. Russ was wonderful and took the time to get to know us both on our ride. As someone who has been taking riding lessons twice a week back home for a while, he even took the time to see where I’m at and what I’ve been working on and gave us some super cool facts about the plants and the desert that we were riding through. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and our overall experience was beyond wonderful. Definitely recommend. We will definitely choose you again Russ anytime we are in the area!"

"Russ is an excellent guide!! He knows horses and cares about horses. They were all healthy, happy and very well taken care of. I had a wonderful trail ride through awesome desert terrain. It was such a unique experience. My horse was beautiful, sweet, smart and the perfect match for my skill level.
