The Gud Ark is a heartwarming travel agency located at 50459 West Papago Road in Maricopa, Arizona, United States. Our mission is to heal children's hearts and minds through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need. We provide a safe place for the community, foster, and lower income youth to learn about agriculture and animals.

The Gud Ark is a component fund of Legacy Global Programs, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, making your donations potentially tax-deductible per IRS rules. Meet some of our amazing animals like Finn, a blind chocolate heeler who has overcome his fears and now enjoys a happy life filled with toys and snuggles. Or Sophie, the English bulldog who was rescued from the desert with severe health issues but is now on the road to recovery in her forever home.
We also have St. Bernard, an adorable pup who loves her pigs and protects the pasture in cooler months, as well as an Italian greyhound who enjoys the outdoors and herding fowl. This intelligent and loving dog is task-trained as a service dog, making a positive impact on those around her. "We reached out to Gud Arc for help with a peacock who had taken up residence in our yard. Although he was beautiful, we knew it wasn’t the safest environment for him. Ellise and her team were able to safely capture and relocate him. They took great care and were compassionate and professional. We are grateful to have them helping animals and people within our community."

"Hands down this are the best animal sanctuary I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The first day I went there they closed and let my friend and I stay for over an hour after closing. We had no idea and they never said anything till we were leaving. The animals are so sweet and so well taken care of. They do an outstanding job of caring for these animals and giving them better lives. Not only do they take care of their animals but they even helped me one day. I was on my way to work and found two lost dogs. The owners were at doctor's appointments and still dropped everything to help me. They even offered some of their supplies if I needed to keep the dogs till we found their owners. However, within two hours we had found the dog's owners and they went home safely. They didn’t have to help me, especially being at the doctor's but they did and they went above and beyond like they always do! If you’re looking for a place to volunteer or even just a nice day with some wonderful people and animals come to The Gud Ark where you will be treated like one of the family!"
