Lake Pleasant Visitor Center

"Beautiful! Family or solo, check it out! Whether it's to distress and meditate on such beautiful paradise in our hot Arizona desert, or to go have fun and swim! My kids loved this place and I am glad it exist close to our new relocated area as we do miss the Sedona area! Note: it can get VERY crowded (summer vacation time)!!so you can be like us and find a perfect spot and ENJOY! There's lots of boats, jet skiing, and even a playground for the kids that is shaped like a bald eagle and reptile! Check it out! You wont regret it and all you have to do is pay about "$8 "to get in (per vehicle)take some food and you're golden!"

"Regional Park with a large lake for swimming, boating, fishing, etc. Water level varies during the year, making for a slightly different experience based on time of visit. 9 hiking trails of easy and moderate difficulty wind through various desert micro-biomes around the lake. A playground for the kids, and a Discovery Center featuring informative displays, live animals, and historical artifacts as well as a friendly staff to answer questions. Wildlife spotting opportunities in the park include wild burro, an abundance of birds, as well as insects and other arthropods. If you're a nature lover, Lake Pleasant is a great opportunity fairly close to PHX that shouldn't be missed."

"This lake was packed during Memorial Day Weekend but was I amazed at how beautiful the view was! It was like looking at an ocean with mountain backdrops! It’s definitely a great family friendly and family-oriented place where you can take everyone to go and have a picnic maybe even jet ski!"
