"I trained 5 days with Paradrenalin in 2020 and was disappointed enough to have left the training early. I felt it was unstructured, unsafe and not thorough. Upon arrival there was no student packet, no syllabus, and no waiver. We always began training late. The time between the morning and evening sessions was not utilized; students just sat around. The two other students in my group also felt they were not getting their money's worth and regretted their decision to train here. The preflight check I was given was this (no joke): "Check the prop belt tension and bolts and... just make sure everything looks good." It felt more like I joined a paramotor club who wanted to show me the ins and outs of flying rather than an actual training class. During my first (and only) flight I was not given any practice landing approaches which contributed to a rough landing. I was not going to complete training when I didn't feel safe. I gave them $1000 out of the $2000 fee and called it even. Later that year I successfully completed training with another company that definitely met my expectations of what aviation training should be. I realize that everyone has different methods of learning but I personally cannot recommend this organization. I learned that being good at flying doesn't necessarily translate to being good at teaching."
"Ive ordered 3 dudek gliders and a paramotor since 2014, never had any issues, great people to deal with. Last one was a Hadron3, took 3 days from order to delivery. Even had a note thanking me for my business, hand written not just a generic note. This is a small business not Wal-Mart, people who enjoy the sport and have been around for years."
"No structured training or discussion about simple things that would be good to know. Actually, vital to know. The training consists of using their gear to get up in the air. Period. And that’s if you can even get ahold of them (believe me when I say this is a good thing and will save you a lot of money and frustration. Hopefully you won’t be able to get ahold of them). No training or discussion about: -Weather and the part it plays in flying -How to know if it’s good/bad conditions -Safety aspects of starting a motor -Reverse launching -Things to watch out for in general -Engine upkeep and maintenance -Wing upkeep and maintenance -Differences between wings -The differences between launching at sea level compared to higher altitudes -How wind interacts with objects -How to throw a reserve -When to throw a reserve -Flying with/without a reserve -Prop strikes and repairs -Airspace and the differences -Speedbar: how to use it. How not to use it. When to use it. Why you would use it. The benefits and downsides of using speedbar -Adequate launch sites and how much room you need -Where you can legally launch from and where you can’t -What to look for when launching and pre-scouting the area beforehand Basically, there is NO training or discussion about everything you really need to know, but don’t know that you don’t know because you’re new and don’t know anything. Only when you have a couple years under your belt and look back do you see how unsafe and inadequate their training was. In short, stay away from this outfit. Go get trained by anyone else….. anyone."
"These guys are the exclusive importers of Dudek wings and are terrible at conducting responsive business with their dealers. I can't speak to their training practices but I would stay clear. They obviously don't care about good customer service."
"Decided to go to Paradrenalin for training. So glad I did! Ryan Shaw is a down to earth easy going great instructor that knows his stuff! At Paradrenalin, safety comes first and they use the top of the line equipment! In just 2 1/2 days, I was able to get 32 flights in! Do yourself a favor and get trained here!"
