"Dr. and I use the term loosely, Shah is cold, rude and very cruel to her post menopausal patients. She didn't want to give me my yearly pap even though it was covered by my insurance. Never called on my ultrasound or mammogram. I can't even imagine being pregnant or needing some caring advice from your OBGYN and having this woman as your doctor. STAY AWAY"
"Dr. Shah is remarkable in every way! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but she shows great compassion to her patients. I have been to several Gynecologists and I must say she is the most caring! She takes her time to listen to my concerns and gives me choices. I am so fortunate to have found her and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else!!"
"I was apprehensive about going to see Dr. Shah when I read the reviews however, I knew someone who had worked with her and they said she was a good doctor. Dr Shah spent at least 20 minutes with me and tried to get to the bottom of what was going on with me. She listened and told me her suggestions without pushing me into anything. I completely trust her 100% after spending just 20 minutes with her and believe that she has my best interest at heart."
"I usually never leave reviews, ever.. but I felt this one was necessary. I recently just had an emergency surgery and Dr. Shah was on call that night. I’m super glad she was. She was amazing. Did a phenomenal job explaining everything to me and making sure I understood everything. She came to see me while I was in the hospital to check in on me daily. I’m only 21 and don’t have family here and she made me feel extremely comfortable the entire time. The outcome of the surgery was better than expected. I am very pleased and feeling so much better. Thank you so much Dr. Shah, I am forever grateful."
"I had a surgical consult appointment with Dr. Paragi Shah on December 20th for endometrial surgery. I, as one can see from the one star review, do not recommend this doctor. She was unprofessional in her candor and bedside manner. I am currently 29 years old and Dr. Shah was recommending that I get pregnant as a natural treatment for endometriosis. She pressured me to getting pregnant as she mentioned this over three times during the appointment even after I had said that my husband and I are not planning on getting pregnant as we are not emotionally nor finanically ready as I am back in school making a career change. She insisted that getting pregnant is the best treatment and that having a baby doesn't cost as much as people think. The truth is that there is no guarantee that getting pregnant will treat endometriosis as every patient's endometriosis is different. In addition, I am not going to bring a child into this world for the sole purpose of treating a medical ailment that I have. Additionally, I tried to explain my medical history and she kept cutting me off. Finally, when she did the vaginal exam, she was rough and didn't explain what she was doing as she was doing it. I also expressed to her that I only want to have excision surgery (the cut-out method) done to treat the endometriosis and do not want to have ablation (the burn-off method). She said that she will only excise small amounts of endometriosis and will burn off the endometriosis that exists around vital organs such as the bladder. In essence, the excision surgery is like ripping out the "weeds" by the root and is proven to be far more effective and the ablation surgery is like taking a pair of scissors and cutting off the top of the "weeds." I did not know if her surgical recommendations are sound and just or if it points to her not being a skilled surgeon. I have since found an appropriate doctor and confirmed that excision is indeed the proper course of action for endometriosis. So, Dr. Shah is not the surgeon you want if you have endometriosis."
