"Quaint Desert nudist ranch. RV friendly, tent camping, vintage casitas. Weekend meal options, so if Sunday night to Thursday bring supplies. # 11 had a Frig, hot plate, toaster , limited dishes and tableware. AC can’t be set below 82. But if you want a beautiful desert location then Book a space. They fill up quick!"
"So my review!! Room Accommodations: The room we rented was so under whelling it was in need of updating and everything thing else. Cleaning was a joke.stains and splatters on the walls. But I will say I have VERY HIGH STANDARDS!!!! Clean sheets and comfortable bed!! Fridge was very cold. Amenities:: pools looked nice and well maintained, but we didn't go in them. Hot tub was lacking. jets were weak and water was not very hot. Didn't use the sauna., showers or steam room. Grounds: I don't know where to start. So many campers, trailers, shacks. It was crazy no room between. Lots of permitinate residents. Very few seem to take pride in where they live, so much trash and junk everywhere. Broke down vehicles. Just sad to see the lack of care for your home. Did have a very unique walking path around the campground, with lots of unique nic-naks along the path. Restaurant: food was very plain. Cooked for the mass's but was ok tasting. Very limited menu! Restaurant had lots of condiments available all communal so everything was just in a fridge to grab as you like seems very unsanitary. Saturday night dance party: I had to say I was very surprised. People were out on the dance floor really enjoying them selves. I love to see the older people active and participating. If your under 55 turn around it is catered to the older community. This place has been here along time and it shows."
"Now I am a bit biased since I live here, but this place is awesome. If you need to get away from the Valley or life, come on up and visit us. I have been a member here for years, I meet new folks all the time. The one thing most all have in common is they are smiling. They never realized how freeing and natural it is to get in the swimming pool (they are all salt water, one is heated) then get out and lay in the sun. The warmth of the sun on your bare skin is breathtaking, especially if the wind blows. Along with not having to deal with a wet bathing suit dripping on all your stuff. When you show up bring a towel, something to drink during the day, and that smile of yours. You will fit right in and make some new friends along the way. See ya around the pool!"
"I call this my "Happy Place". Many friendly people are there as well as an amazing staff. It's no putting on the Ritz stuffy place . Instead, it's down to earth, friendly atmosphere with great pools, jacuzzi, game room, restaurant, dancing, karaoke and even a short hike. I did not use, but saw tennis, volleyball and believe a basketball court as well if my memory is working. I stayed in a very nice little park model and accommodations were reasonably priced and clean. If you have never been through a similar experience. I was there for my first-time experience. The staff and guests were very kind, explaining the process of getting use to the new experience and it became my new normal. They were very helpful in getting my inhibitions calmed quickly. In 2020, I married the woman of my life. I had brought her here and they helped her through the same inhibitions. I not only recommend this place but return here at least 3 or 4 times every year with my bride. We had our honeymoon here and it was her idea. Friday night karaoke and Saturday night dancing. They have many things throughout the week as well. I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone here as it will become your new comfort zone."
"My wife and I aren’t new to the clothing optional lifestyle and even had a nude wedding, but this was our first visit to Shangrila Ranch. We spent nine days here and loved it. We definitely plan to return, possibly for month’s."
