"Lots of turns and time after you get off the freeway only to find out it's not open. Several other people in the parking lot finding out the same thing."
"We arrived at the Tourist Centre early afternoon on our way to Zion Nation Park the end of April 2022. The gentleman, named Ron, warmly greeted us then asked about our plan. We confessed we really didn’t have a plan except to visit the Grand Circle of Canyons ending in Moab. He then pulled out a map of Utah and proceeded to map out a route for us including hotels and restaurants with phone numbers. Along with the map and brochures of the parks he recommended taking Scenic Byway 12. We were absolutely knocked out by the beautiful landscapes along this road with various other canyons to explore. We can’t thank Ron enough for all his knowledge and expertise and making our road trip so memorable. We are 2 senior ladies from the West Coast of Canada. Bravo Ron, many, many thanks!"
"We arrived at the information center late in the afternoon and the gentleman provided us with information about places that we could visit even though it was late. It turned out that we had a great late afternoon at the two places recommended by him. We are grateful!"
"Dropped into the Center Nov. 5. Did not expect to be completely ignored by the staff. I made an attempt to speak to one of the ladies who merely nodded at me. Even though I was ignored, pretty sure I was being watched. This was a example of what I experienced in the town - VERY unfriendly people."
"The Visitor Information center is actually in the same building as the Museum. They have the usual brochures with information about the local activities and companies that provide services such as tours. Our experience today was less than satisfactory. We walked in, picked up some brochures and persued the souveniers for sale while waiting for the Center volunteer to finish talking with two ladies who wanted to know all sorts of things (where is their hotel, is there a Dollar Tree nearby, how to get to some other places, etc.) His humor was fine and he sprinkled personal tidbits in his conversation with the ladies, but we had already been waiting 20 minutes to ask him a question and when he launched into a story about his brother-in-law while still talking with the two ladies, our patience was tried to the limit and we left without getting any assistance."
