"I got married in the gazebo in Trail Dust Town and had my reception at the Savoy Opera House. If you want to have your wedding here, book it book it book it! The wedding was a DREAM WEDDING. The Savoy Opera House team was incredible and so flexible and well organized to make everything absolutely perfect. I am sure there were some behind the scenes hiccups but I, as the bride, have no knowledge of anything going wrong. Jerri and Suzanne were the MVPs of everything. Their organization skills are legendary and they think of things you would never think of. The communication has been absolutely perfect and they took something I put on paper and made it reality. They asked me “what do you want, what is your fairytale wedding” and they created that from scratch. It is the most impressive display of skill I have ever seen in my life. The bartenders were so incredible and open to us creating a cocktail menu from scratch, Sam and Brianna, you guys rule!!! It was perfect! The day-of organizer, Amanda, made sure that everything was perfect that day and it truly was. The kitchen/waiting staff was so incredibly nice and the food was something that you’d get at a very fancy restaurant, everybody was so impressed and our guests were shocked at how good wedding food can be. The dancing “ring” is so perfect and our DJ said the venue was very easy to work with. Our photographer was so impressed with the organization that included her as well with details and a tour or the property so that we know on the day-of where to go and we don’t waste time. Our florist was so incredibly happy with the options she had to come in and set things up. Absolutely everybody was so impressed with how easy it was to do the jobs they were hired to do. I never thought that I could be this happy and look so fondly back to a day in my life. The Savoy team has given me and my husband that and we will be forever greatful. So yeah, 10000/10 spot. Thank you."
"Incredibly beautiful spot with a wonderful staff, and delicious food! I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience this place thanks to my Husband's job! Hehe. I dressed formal expecting it to be all fancy, and it was, but I could have dressed casual, and had the same awesome night!"
"It recently came time for the 50th Class Reunion of Sahuaro High School in Tucson & I hadn’t heard anyone taking lead to make it happen, so I started reaching out to classmates to see if anyone was planning it. It quickly became obvious everyone was waiting for someone else to do something, so though I now live 1,836 miles from Tucson, I decided I’d step up & lead the charge. I was fortunate to “recruit” help from a few classmates that live in Tucson, so efforts began in earnest in late 2022. Having led our 10th reunion, worked on two others & solely put together annual ‘Reunion Lites’ from the 40th to the 48th, I had a decent idea of what to focus on. First was the date to assure we didn’t try to book locations during peak (expensive) season. Second was a location that the majority would be happy with. Third was cost to assure it was affordable for most, while still serving up a memorable time. The unfortunate passing of a key classmate in Tucson that was working on pricing from several venues put me in a start-over crunch. I decided to focus on 6 venues & recruited a good friend in Tucson to contact 3 of them. Short story is he met with Savoy Opera House & at every turn in his discussions it became obvious they wanted to host us & were incredibly welcoming to us. Fast forward a month & the decision was made - we were doing our reunion at Savoy Opera House. Through the next few months working with Jerri, Suzanne & Linda at Savoy was an absolute dream. They were incredibly attentive & seemed like they really wanted our event to be the success I’d hoped for. The packages they offered were flexible, their pricing was competitive, but a really important part to me is their location being such a historic one to anyone that knows Tucson. Results were the Saturday evening dinner function @ Savoy was attended by 175+. The facility was great, the staff was great, & when a bartender didn’t show up, Jerri jumped in & tended bar which I thought was a true sign of a team hell bent on making our party a successful one. As they say, the proof is in the pudding & consensus from attendees was this was the best reunion we’d had, the venue was awesome, the food was delicious, & if we do another reunion in the future, Savoy Opera House is our place to do it. A personal thought - thank you Jerri, Suzanne & Linda @ Savoy. You are a great group of people that represent your company well. I’m thrilled that we had our reunion with you & thank you for everything you did to make our 50th a great success!"
"Southern Arizona Atractions Alliance had their yearly get together with the CTAs, Certified Tourism Ambassadors, Business Partners and the Visit Tucson Volunteers along with neighboring Southern Arizona City's businesses. We had awesome gathering at this facility ♡ This was the second time we used this venue. The morning coffee and pastries were catered by Starbucks and they did a beautiful job ❤️ The brunch was awesome too. Fresh fruit, tamale pie, shredded chicken, pulled pork, tasty rolls, bacon and cup cakes ♡ for dessert. We were entertained by many of the attractions and learned so much of the history of the surrounding areas ♡ ranches and families that help to settle the Southwest ❤️ Stories of struggles and successes ❤️ Trail Dust Town is fun for all ages. Looking forward to Halloween with the train ride around the property too. We were entertained with a tour of Pinacle Peaks Saloon and Lounge area. If you wear a tie for dinner, it will be cut off and displayed...many interesting ones are hanging on the wall. The Wild West Show was AMAZING ! The actors are true stunt actors with comedy and fun ♡ Pyrotechnic and gun fire fun!! They promise a great show for Halloween ❤️ Millies Pancake Haus is a great place for breakfast or lunch. ( Closes at 2pm) The Savoy can be rented for all sorts of occasions and there is a stage. Go check out the grounds and get a feel for some history and the many stores in the Old Trail Dust Town. There is even an old carousel on the property! Look for events on line."
"Loved working at this beautiful venue as the wedding photographer + videographer team! This venue made sure all vendors and guest felt at home. Venue has friendly staff and easy parking."
