State Farm Insurance

"I am sad to have to write this review because we were with this State Farm Agent for over 30 years (we are 65 years old). But I don't want what happened to us to happen to anyone else! It has cost us a lot! 4 car coverages suddenly cancelled!!!....We paid every 6 months and when time for renewel May 15, 2023....we found we had been cancelled!!....no explanation, no options, nothing! I called the regional office to see if they had any reason ...nope. The only possible reason (my thoughts) was after 30 years we filed a claim for a fender bender. .It is very hard and costs a lot when you have have been uninsured...even if only for 1 day. Buyer beware, Michael Riley's office is not loyal to its customers!"

"You gave yourself the right to renew our homeowner insurance without our permission. We did call your agents after we had received your mail in which you offered us an increase of homeowner insurance of almost $100 after we had one year insurance with you. We didn't accept it and contacted your agents to cancel our homeowner insurance with you after the existing homeowner insurance expired. Every time we talked to your agents we asked them to make a note of the cancelation on our account, they said they did. We ever sent you emails in which we confirmed that we no longer wanted any contact from you, and we allowed you to keep our existing homeowner insurance with you as we had paid you the whole year (11/2016-11/2017). That email didn't allow you to renew our homeowner insurance without our permission with a third party. Based on our conversation with your agent, she did not even remember who paid you, she said: "somebody paid it". You know how poor your agent's knowledge and work experience are. She also said that you don't have any record of our conversations with your agents but laws makers always have solutions to deal with such lies. You will have been received a court order by next week. See you there."

"I usually don't do reviews but, my experience has been great since day one. My husband and I recently moved from California so we had to switch our policies, Emily was so helpful and on top of things she was able to switch my policy the same day and she even emailed me copies of my insurance cards. Soon after we switched I called minutes before closing for a new quote for a new car we had purchased and again Emily stayed after hours and gave me a text once she had it processed. Great customer service so far!"

"I'd like to share a satisfying experience I had with Michael Riley's State Farm agency and how thorough they were with all my questions & concerns. With the wave of technology these days it is becoming more and more difficult to get that personal connection. Before I moved my insurance to here I was paying an outrageous amount for my just my auto insurance. Now with State Farm I am paying way way less and now I also have renter's insurance. All in all I would recommend this agency for all of your insurance purposes."
