Randolph Park

Randolph Park, located at 250 South Alvernon Way in Tucson, Arizona, is a regional park spanning 293.4 acres in Ward 6. The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities for the community, including the nearby Randolph Golf Complex.

Recently, Tucson Parks and Recreation engaged with stakeholders to gather feedback on enhancing recreational experiences at Randolph Park and the golf complex. A concept has been developed to improve public access to park amenities while maintaining the quality golf experience.

The community is invited to attend an open house at the Randolph Golf Complex to review the concept, ask questions, and learn about the next steps in the process. The Randolph Park and Golf Complex Opportunity Study is available for viewing online.

In addition, Randolph Park participates in the Park Rx program, a public health initiative that encourages healthy lifestyles through outdoor activities. The program allows healthcare providers to prescribe nature-based exercise routines for their patients, utilizing neighborhood parks like Randolph Park for physical activities.

The park is named after Epes Randolph, a Tucson pioneer and prominent figure in the city's history. Randolph was a civil engineer, railroad president, banker, and chancellor of the University of Arizona Board of Regents. His legacy lives on in the park that bears his name.

"All kinds of activities to do here. There are (2) 18 hole golf courses, tennis and pickleball center, a zoo, a huge park, and much more. I grew up playing here. Now, as an adult, I'm still going back for more!"
