"I went there to see the Prince tribute concert w my family. It was my 1st time there and I really didn't know what to expect. But, overall i was pleasantly impressed and enjoyed myself there at the concert and the venue. Upon arriving...the parking was fairly easy to find a parking space. We pretty much walked right up to the front entrance w a minor wait to get in while security checked bags. But, it was fast moving. And, ultimately we didn't mind bc it was for our safety. We were then pointed towards our seats and were able to navigate ourselves without any problems. We had a total of 5 tickets purchased and we had the cluster of seats that are seated closest to the wall. It was nice and convenient for us to all be sitting comfortably together. I was however I brought in my jacket to wear inside. Had I not done so I would've been awfully cold and probably uncomfortable the entire show. So just keep that in mind to those of you that purchase those tickets near the wall. For some reason there is a chilly breeze that comes through somehow over there on the sides. As for the concert...overall I thought the band was pretty good and I would recommend seeing them if you get the chance too! And if you never have been to the State Theatre of Modesto...do yourself a favor n check it out. I'm glad I did. Supposedly they have a pretty good restaurant next door to this theatre that is good & worth checking out if you have the opportunity to."
