"This is a horribly run business that I regret ever sending my daughter to. We’ve had multiple issues with them that have cost us money and when brought up to the staff, they just shrug their shoulders and tell us there’s nothing they can do. The icing on the cake was a safety issue when they had my 2 year old daughter walk across tile in tap shoes where she proceeded to fall on her face minutes before her recital (she has a black eye from taking such a hard hit) and then they still put her on stage to preform. I’ve reached out to them to get answers as to why this happened, why no one saw her fall and why it was so poorly handled but have yet to receive an answer from the owner, Val. Clearly, they don’t care about the safety of their dancers, much less, the reputation of their studio since they won’t acknowledge such an injury that they caused. Why would you ever have dancers walking on tile in tap shoes, ESPECIALLY toddlers? Instead of following up to offer an apology for the incident, ensure that my daughter was ok, or even just acknowledge our issue with her studio, she had her young teacher text me. The teacher was not with my daughter when she fell and it’s well above her authority to ensure that all dancers are getting from point A to point B in a safe manner. It’s completely inappropriate for the teacher to contact me at all in regards to this situation, no one should be contacting me except for the owner who doesn’t want to take responsibility for hurting a 2 year old. The whole situation is completely unacceptable and as a business owner myself- a huge liability to the company on multiple fronts. On top of other safety concerns with this studio, I would advise parents to think twice before sending their kids here. Word on the street is that they grew way to fast in the short years they’ve been in business and with the total negligence for dancer safety and proper customer service- it shows. The teachers are fine… the business model, customer service and owner is where it all falls apart."
