"This Genoa Rx location makes a point to do many things correctly that more people should look out for as signs of a functional pharmacy run by people whose names are actually being used by each other and by customers: (1) correct meds dispensed; consistently; (2) 1 or more actual pharmacists on staff every time I have been in to pick up my own meds, and they talk to me if I need it or if staff insist that I do need the consult. (3) all the staff are willing to defer upwards or to a specific person to whom I previously spoke with on the phone, to make sure that I do not leave without proper knowledge. (4) Staff have small turnover so I have heard the same voice on the phone enough times and in-person that I actually recognize staff by their voices even if I did not remember their names from their ID's or their faces. *the importance of staff staying on is that they have known me as a customer so they probe and ask what I actually am trying to ask for when I say "distill Packed," and that's different than "bubble packed." I did not know there were different words for these distinct concepts. And then they are willing to mail things out, so I don't miss what I need to have to be compliant with my regimen. Now, as of today: if I am considered healthy, it is because this Genoa Rx team is professional in demeanor, organized, and responsive. "My urgency is not your emergency." Sure! In medication they believe and dispense as if that notion were not their truth. Every time I have said I need a bridge, they have staffed with my prescriber's Medical Assistant and coordinated to make that bridge happen, in conjunction with the front desk reception taking my request in over the phone. My experience applies only to the Fort Lowell location. I have always had excellent CS experiences with Genoa Rx, there at Cobblestone CODAC! FYI Genoa on Ft. Lowell is located within the same building as the Cobblestone CODAC. The parking is non-pay, and easy to get in and out of. ADA available car spaces, plus a covered Sun Tran bus stop literally in front of the building. There's a water fountain in the main lobby."
