"They're worse insurance ever. Let me tell you. Once I feel so bad and I called em and they told me to go to abranzo campus hospital. This is the place that we cover if you use the emergency room. I went there and and after two month they sent me a bill for about 900$ but in there fare book that they sent me covered emergency room fare was 120$. I went to their office and claim several time. They had bunch of excuses .first they told me the Dr that night in emergency room didn't accept our coverage.. lol isn't funny? Next time they told me you used the ambulance. LOL... And when I told em I will claim it and sue em. They waived and charge me for 68$. Now after 1 year and six month hospital sent me a 301$ bill directly. I just want to give you a heads-up... Their theif. Don't not wast your money... The wouldn't give you a service... I just talked with the hospital and they told me the insurance company going to be bankrupt. The I talked with a paralegal and he told me if you have enough evidence that show they refused to pay the bill first go to hospital and start pay your bill then I will introduce you to a lawyer and you can write a lawsuit against em. And he told me if you can add other people to this case it would be more strong lawsuit. Does anybody here who wants to sue this insurance company? I would glad to have a coffee and talk about our cases... Please contact my Gmail here...."
"This company goes out of their way to provide absolutely NO SERVICE at all! Difficult to deal with. Employees seem to enjoy saying no. I asked to change my granddaughter's primary care physician. I have legal guardianship, but because they can't read the legal fax, they refused to change it. They have no other way to send them the information, and offered absolutely no resolution. Apparently their equipment is as low level as the service they do not provide. I was told there was no supervisor available. Elisha seemed to enjoy not being able to assist. I hope these employees remember how difficult and unwilling they are to help when it comes time for them to do something similar and they get someone like themselves as a customer service rep. And I use 'customer service' lightly. More like customer irritation. I am changing as soon as possible."
"This company is terrible! So many things wrong, I don't know where to begin.. The telephone service seems to be the worst. They NEVER answer the damn telephone, I was on hold for an hour recently and had to hang up and carry on with my day. Other times the people who eventually do answer seem to be illiterate, and with respect, incompetent. The website is awful as well, there is no member login section to view your account summary, manage/edit payment methods, and view policy coverage. Really regret choosing Phoenix Choice, and I will certainly do more research when selecting a future health care provider."
"I made my initial premium payment online and it generated two different $373 holds against my bank account; just one emailed receipt, though. I called the following day (short hold time, then answered by a human) and was told that they didn't reflect even one of those payments and that I was currently uninsured. To their modest credit, they did immediately look into it, sent me a letter (2 identical letters, actually) acknowledging that I was currently insured, and only moved forward in processing one charge. However the second hold was not actively released and created significant financial issues until the hold was automatically released by the bank. I'm really unimpressed and more than a little scared about choosing them."
"Oh gosh, this place is a mess. I am usually on a work insurance plan but this semester I needed to go through the marketplace. I never received any notice that my plan went through or they received my first month's payment. I called on a weekday and the hold was over 30mins. They said they haven't received a payment yet so I paid for 3 months in advance. Come February 1st, I get notice that an additional payment was taken out of my card. Looks like the original first months payment just went through. Called to get it refunded (since I already paid 3 months..) and the lady said that was impossible and that she needs to "email her boss" to get my card removed from receiving automatic payments. This place is unprofessional and needs to upgrade their systems. Peace!"
