"I needed ambulance transport outside of Tucson city limits. Rural Metro responded. My insurance covered the cost. Now RM billing is saying I owe them a “non medical out of pocket” $ 600.00 subscription fee. Fraudulent Billing Practices. Im filing a complaint with BBB and am considering getting an attorney."

"I broke my hip on July 6. AMR rolled me across the gravel in our yard rather than using the sidewalk. They asked me questions for 5m before starting the trip to the hospital. They stopped at Red lights and didn't use the siren. My husband beat us to the hospital! While the 2 men were kind in conversations, the overall experience was horrible!"

"Rural metro ambulance (AMR) billing practices are fraudulent. I paid my patient resp portion of my ambulance trip in Dec 2022. They cashed my check and have yet to post the payment to my trip number! Ive phoned several times, provided proof of payment, sent certified letters..still not posted. Im filing a complaint with BBB."
