The Early Education Child Care Center is located at 280 South Ocotillo Drive in Sacaton, Arizona, United States. Our institution is dedicated to providing quality early education and child care services to GRIC enrolled members, employees, and its entities. As an entity of the Gila River Indian Community and a sub department of the Tribal Education Department, our objective is to offer high-quality child care and early educational services to the Community.

Our Center caters to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, providing a safe and enriching environment while parents/guardians are working, in training, or pursuing their education. We believe that children learn best through exploration, interaction, and experience, which is why we offer indoor/outdoor environments that cater to the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of the whole child.

At the Early Education Child Care Center, we prioritize age and developmentally appropriate activities, with a focus on literacy-based environments to prepare children for school. We recognize the important role parents play in their child's development and encourage their involvement in center activities and at-home reinforcement of skills.

Culture and language are integral parts of a child's life, and we strive to provide a multicultural rich environment by involving parents, classroom staff, elders, and community cultural resources. We also prioritize continued educational development by offering professional development and in-service training for our staff.

Additionally, we offer assistance through a Federal program for low-income families seeking child care services, as well as Quality First scholarships to help families afford quality early care and education for their young children. We offer a variety of child care categories, including center-based care, group home, family child care, and in-home care, with providers available both on and off reservation to meet your child care needs. The Early Education Child Care Program, through the Child Care and Development Fund, provides assistance with child care expenses for all Gila River Indian Community enrolled children.
