"Oralia’s Family Daycare is amazing! My son went there for over a year and I wish we never had to leave. The daycare became a second home for him and Oralia became a second mother to him. I absolutely adore her, her family, and her style of caring for the children. She is from Guatemala and was a preschool teacher there, so she is very experienced. Every morning after their snack the kids do a group activity, normally a fun art project or a tactile activity like playing with bubbles or shaving cream. I would often receive pictures of these fun moments while I was at work. Then they have lots of free play time either inside or outside. Both play areas have so much to offer in dramatic play, building, and art projects. Most of the outside is shaded and smells of freshly baked goods since it is right next to a bakery. All the lunches are organic and homemade. My son LOVED her Guatemalan cooking and always ate a huge lunch. After nap time, the kids have more opportunities to play until pick up time. The daycare is exclusively Spanish speaking, which I loved! My son learned many Spanish words and can understand most basic conversational Spanish. I highly recommend her daycare and I wish we could keep going to her, but my son was ready to transition to preschool. She had a huge influence on helping us raise my son and making him feel safe, confident and grounded. I am forever grateful for her and her amazing work. Besos Oralia!"
