"Very disappointed. I’ve had several issues here. First and foremost they have teachers under the age of 18. My baby was also not properly dressed and was found freezing after a blow out, from feedings being done in a bouncer, from them not reporting a illness to parents (one teacher said no when asked and another confirmed something was going around), to bottles being thrown in a diaper bag to rot before pick up. Miss Belinda and Miss. Sunnay have been amazing their assistants are the problem. I have brought it to the directors attention as well but it seems to just go over their head. They are always saying they are short staffed and it seems like the staff turn over rate is very high. I only keep my baby here because the two main teachers are completely amazing and they take the best care of my baby plus it’s close to home. I do know when we move she will be removed immediately."
"Avoid this daycare! They do not clean the children properly after using the restroom. According to the director, several parents (including me) complained about this. Yet, nothing was done. Also, if you’re little one is crying they will tell him/her to stand in the corner to “calm down,” rather than consoling/redirecting them. I personally wouldn’t choose this method if my daughter is crying. I often noticed the teachers speaking to the other children in a degrading manner when I picked up my daughter. I wouldn’t trust these people caring for my kids, which is why I took my daughter out of this daycare as soon as I started noticing these red flags. *Edit/Response* My daughter was enrolled for a few months where I witnessed firsthand how the children are taken care of. In fact, I held a meeting with Ms. Joi (the director) where I expressed my concerns. In response to me telling her about my daughter being left in the corner to cry, she said that children are left in the corner when they are crying to regulate their emotions. She also stated that several parents had complained about their children not being wiped properly. I had my potty trained two-year-old at this daycare. She had an accident (#2) and rather than cleaning her properly and putting on her extra pair of underwear, the staff threw a diaper on her without cleaning her. When I picked her up, she had a diaper, with poop, and a severe rash. When I spoke to the director, she only had excuses. I never took my daughter back."
"I had my daughter enrolled here for almost a year, and all was well for a time. This week I went to pick up my daughter and noticed a golf ball sized bruise on her head. It was not reported by the facility to me or to my fiancé. When I asked what happened to her, the two employees working told me they had no idea and had just gotten to the 1 year old room. I asked the director what happened and she did not know either. She reached out to who was supposedly working the room at the time of the incident and informed me that neither employee was paying attention to the her and that my daughter tripped fell and hit her head on a book shelf. They also said she did not cry, which is either a lie or she hit her head so hard that she lost consciousness. I have no way of verifying whether this is true or not, because they admitted they were not watching her at the time. I understand kids get hurt, and that things get busy. But to not report it at the time or after they noticed the giant bruise is negligence."
"I recently started taking my daughter to NHLL and we absolutely love it! The teachers are all involved and very communicative with her father and I. We are constantly getting updates on how she’s doing and are always welcome questions. They are so patient with her and her transition. I know my daughter is safe here!"
"We have loved having both our kids at Little Learners! Our youngest started in the infant room and I really feel like she's grown up so much there! They work hand in hand with us through parenting both kids and have shown nothing but love towards them. Picking a daycare is so hard because you're trusting someone else to care for the most important part of your world and we could not have picked better! We love it here! I see how much care all the staff really puts into my kids. Ms. Megan has recently become the director and I loved her before but even more now! She is still always in a classroom and says hi and bye to my kids every day! Ms. Janelle and Mr. Bryan have become my sons favorite people in the world. Ms. Natalie and Ms. Ashley recently had my daughter transition into their class and I feel like they already know her so well! I could write something great about every single staff member there! They all go above and beyond for my kids!"
