"I was a starting out employee for this company a month ago, and I had warned them coming in my phone was not receiving text messages very well and they would have to contact me by phone! And yet they never contacted me by phone call just texted I eventually got but it was already too late. Email that I got but I wasn’t able to reply right away it kept saying to contact HR, which I did! And finally someone got back with me. They felt they had the excuses to keep saying I wasn’t good fit. Well I was up until I didn’t show up for a shift I didn’t know I had until last minute! I don’t think it’s proper or respectful or professional to let an employee know to show up for a shift on that same day(last minute)!! That’s VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! And truthfully the fact they get away with that and racism and the fact that I was hit twice with a tire iron my second day of going on a ride along with one of the managers I don’t exactly think that they have some of those houses put together, right sense of professionalism and respect and boundaries. They say they are good to the community and employees well that’s great but they need to show respect for the fact that they need to be more professional in calling and making the scheduling a week before and NOT the same day!! I don’t know about others but if I am already planning to idk let’s see have a appointment for my son I can’t reschedule cuz it’s really important and then I’m let know very last minute to come into work that’s not professional at all! And I shouldn’t be let go because of that! I was actually a great fit for that company cuz I feel they need better employees there to contribute the good vibes there and respect! But clearly I’m happy I’m not apart of that team I refuse to be apart of a team to where they can’t be professional and respectful especially dealing with children!"
"So thankful for GAP and the support they give to students at Flowing Wells High School!!! We really appreciate the donations used for incentives for kids!"
"Gap is doing some awesome things for the community! They recently moved to a new facility and it has given them to opportunity to expand! We had a gathering last night 3/17 for a Seder Supper at The Voyager and Gap was there to provide us with an outstanding meal for 200+ people. The service was excellent and the price very reasonable. This organization deserves to be a first call service for your special events!!"
"We share food with anyone, no questions asked. We work to keep food from going to waste. Those are the values we have in common with GAP Ministries and why they share with us. Since we became a GAP partner our ability to consistently have a variety of groceries available for our community to partake of week after week has been strengthened immensely. It’s great to see the kindness and organization that goes into running the GAP Community Warehouse. Tucson Food Share loves working with GAP!"
"Gap Ministries is an outstanding organization caring not only about children, but also the broader local community. Last year, they generously donated many items to the Project Graduation Night for student life beyond high school, and also provided spectacular prizes (a kayak among them!!) for event night because they care about keeping high school graduates safe. We could not make the event a success without their generous support. We so appreciate Matt Clauer and team for their kindness and dedication to impacting the community for good."
