"Lazo is 100% the best value for the space you get! I have a huge patio, an amazing, safe apartment with a massive garage and pretty large 1 bedroom footprint. I’ve also lived in an amazing 2 bedroom floor plan here as well. Diana and Arianna are both amazing and I am so grateful to call this my home. It feels more like living in a townhome. Nobody bothers you, everyone minds their own business. The amenities are great and you can peacefully enjoy your life here knowing you are safe and taken care of! And there is so much lush grass and mature trees here, which is very hard to come by here in Arizona. Maintenance team is great as well!"
"Nothing about this screams luxury not even the pools . First and foremost most life happens. I moved here June 17 after doing a cross country road trip from Missouri. I had not worked yet and my boyfriend was laid off twice because his medical condition. I offered them more than half the rent and was only a couple hundred short. They add fees on top of fees including legal fees twice . I could write a book but long story short they will not work with you at all.secondly they will not answer the phone . I’ve seen them all in the office sitting on counters and talking to eachother. They are all rude including the manager Diana . They advertise 3 pools one is locked all day everyday and the 2 are absolutely disgusting.the gym is the only thing I can say is clean . After getting serviced multiple times there was still roaches live and dead . There were at least 4 roaches a day . And it wasn’t from us because we just got there and never had a problem with cleanliness. The ac unit was molded and corroded and went out during record breaking temperatures.the tub and toilet was leaking and even after they claimed to fix it my tub would fill up with water.the toilet seat had pee on it the first day we moved in , which means they put the seal around a nasty toilet .absolutely horrible experience if your gonna spend this much money go to a mark Taylor property because at least their stuff is well taken care of . Don’t stick with greystar at all, I’ve seen couple of their properties looks like this ."
"I've been a resident of this apartment complex for two years now and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Over time, the situation has only deteriorated, with the police showing up frequently that they might as well open a substation. It's frustrating to have limited parking due to the excessive number of unregistered or abandoned vehicles, and to see the grounds transform into a literal trash dump. My pictures are three weeks apart, and the trash continues to grow. This place is nowhere near luxurious, as they can't even keep the gates working 90% of the time. Additionally, they charge extra for a trash service that doesn't even do its job properly, leaving trash bags on the curb. Overall, my experience has been far from pleasant and I would not recommend this complex to anyone looking for a comfortable living environment. Update: It has been over a month since we moved out, but we still haven't received our security deposit back. Despite our repeated attempts to reach them through emails and phone calls, they continue to ignore us."
"DANGEROUS AND DISGUSTING. There IS TRASH EVERYWHERE. There are homeless people constantly breaking and walking in and living on first floor apartment patios. Constantly people driving their trucks in to dump trash BY the dumpsters. Then the garbage trucks knock it around and nobody cleans it. Management is basically impossible to get ahold of unless you tie up their phone lines. Unresponsive to real issues or requests. Haven’t felt safe for a day since I moved in. Go live anywhere else and consider yourself lucky."
"I highly recommend looking elsewhere for housing. My husband and I received keys for our newly leased apartment last week. When doing the walk through, there were over 20+ things wrong with the apartment (see photos for reference). I was told by the leasing agent, Ariana, that the cleaners were there in the morning and that maintenance would be doing a final walk through to ensure the unit was ready for move in. Upon walking into the unit, I noticed: Living room: -scratches on wall -black marks on counter top -silver outlet covered in paint -red wall detector covered in paint -back door blinds broken -back door does not lock -back door silver floor plate rusted and dirty -living room window covered in bird feces -baseboards are dirty in certain places Balcony: -floor is layered with dirt/leaves Kitchen: -Sink is leaking on side of faucet -pantry door stopper covered in paint Master bedroom: -missing blinds -black window foam is popping out -ceiling fan is missing a string, light does not turn on Master bath- -mirror needs replaced (some type of paint or product stuck on it) -shower head leaks, causing water to go on the ground -bathroom fan has dirt and the dirt has been painted over -ceiling device is rusty (not sure what it’s for) -bath mirror medicine cabinet has a broken slat -light is missing a bulb -bath tub plug does not sit up right Front bathroom- -Shower door/frame is rusted and dirty It’s obvious enough to say that cleaners were not in the unit that day, nor did maintenance do a “final walk through.” It pains me to be in a situation like this, as my family and I were excited to move into here. I have been told day after day that maintenance would come by to address these issues. It took SIX days for maintenance to come by. Half the issues were addressed and half are still idle. I’ve asked to speak to the property manager and was told by a leasing agent, Adriana, that she would pass it along. I have not heard from the property manager, have not been offered compensation for the inconveniences, have not been offered a new unit, and have not been offered an apology for this situation. I will be calling corporate and submitting an official request, however in the meantime: please rent elsewhere. You’ll thank me later! On a plus side, the staff is friendly and kind, but that is not enough when it comes to situations like this. We are paying rent for the property to be maintained. Take better care of your residents, hire more maintenance staff, or at the VERY least outsource third parties to come by and address issues like this. We will be doing more research for the next place that we live."
