"There are no concerns about tenants' safety. They listen but don't hear them. This boiler room, aka home to someone unknown, is still open with a water leak done by the same individual or individuals going on almost a month. Tenants are responsible for the water bill. I have mentioned safety issues to the office and maintenance supervisor, and that was over two weeks ago. We have kids and people walking through that area across the residents' gym, which has been closed for repairs for more than 6 months. Thank you for reaching out, and let's make Ember a safer and fun place live. Thank you for your cooperation. When you say it is going to be taken care of, it sounds like when I told the manager and she said, "we are putting new doors." Telling tenants what they want to hear so they can get them out of their view is not good for business. No more lies. We need action."

"I am really disappointed in this place. I ignored the reviews because I was told that the property was under new management. The photos online looked very appealing and when I toured I didn't notice that they only keep up with the front of the community. When I applied I barely had any communication with the leasing agents. They never answer the phone and never respond to messages. I was moving from a different state and wasn't sure if I had a place to live. The day before my move in Maria asked for me to delay to the next day because maintenance wasn't finished. The next day came around and my approval still wasn't finalized. I had to wait for an hour until everything was signed and ready to go. Moving in my fire alarms didn't work, dryer vent wasn't hooked up, trash was left from previous tenants, closet doors missing and a few other damages. I was also told my mail key would be given to me shortly. 2 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything about my maintenance request or my mail key. Leasing office wouldn't answer the phone or return messages so I showed up in person. Turned out the paper work I had filled out upon move in was lost and was never put into their system. I had to fill it out again and returned it to them the next day. A month went by before I was finally able to receive mail again and maintenance showed up to fix things. However, 2 months later, they're still not done. When maintenance fixed my dryer vent they accidentally bumped the drain pipe out of my washer. The next time I did laundry my apartment flooded damaging both mine and my downstairs neighbors apartments. I called the emergency maintenance line and nothing. I called the leasing office when they opened the next day and someone did come to fix it. However my washing machine is no longer working and my maintenance requests keep saying completed even when they clearly haven't been. It's been another month and I can't get an update from anyone on when someone may be available to come check it out. After weeks of hoping I can use the washing machine I'm paying to have in my apartment I was left with no other choice but to use the properties laundry rooms. When I entered I was hit with an awful stench of what I can only imagine as human feces. Someone has been living in there. There was milk and cereal on the counter and a dirty man watching me. There was no way I was going to get my laundry done there. Yesterday I received a 10 day notice about my dog living with me. They said that I was violating my lease. I had submitted all the ESA paperwork and vaccination history with my application. I even brought him into the leasing office with me when I signed. I don't know how all this gets overlooked. I really wanted to like this place. I'm grateful to have a roof over my head but that is about it. I would be willing to take this review down and submit something better if I could just get some communication."

"You should believe every negative review on this place--worst complex I've lived in and that's saying something. I've only been here since September and I'm considering breaking the lease and just rent out a house. Sad to see how multiple tenants have had their papers lost by management. From week 1 I was left an eviction notice from management because I had "not paid first month's rent" when that was given via money order along with my deposit. I went in the office furious after multiple unanswered calls for them to tell me they probably just misplaced them and later to find out they hadn't processed them as multiple money orders were sitting on the manager's desk. On average there is NO HOT WATER every 2-3 weeks for about 1-3 days at a time. I've asked multiple times if we'll be given a credit due to how often this happens and I'm always told "probably not." The office never calls you back, even after saying they will. Last month I had to call the Fire Department due to my ceiling leaking ~2gal of water before I woke up in the middle of the night as no one would pick up the EMERGENCY line. Turns out the unit above me flooded. There's now been damage to my kitchen wall for about a month that has not been fixed after putting in two work orders and maintenance has shown THREE times to inspect, but have yet to come back. The original laundry key they gave me did not work and when I went in to let management know the lady went "it should work, have you tried it?" before saying she needed to take her lunch and kicked me out. Never got back to me. I eventually got a new one after going back weeks later. Laundry room looks like a "trap house." No one picks up after their dogs. Kids constantly running around and getting in front of cars as they drive by. Yeah, new management seems to be taking care of the exterior and finally fixing/upgrading fixtures/roofs/painting/etc but they're prioritizing this over tenants' units. My storage unit was BROKEN into and over $400+ of auto detailing supplies/equipment were STOLEN. All office did was tell me to install a camera so it doesn't happen again and had maintenance halfa** install a deadbolt WITHOUT fixing the original frame, so it is still easily accessible if you try hard enough to break the door open. You can even see where the deadbolt stops from the outside. I don't keep valuables in there anymore for this reason. Neighbors drink all night and leave beer bottles/cans all over the place. If you can go anywhere else, please do and avoid the headaches this place will give you."

"This places is scummy! Avoid at all costs. I Did everything right, gave them a written 60 day notice before my lease ended that I was leaving at the end of it. Everything is good we move out, then I guess they changed ownership right after we left and they lost my written notice, now I have a $3000 collection account. Charges are rent charges for after I left. Which is what they do if you don’t give them a notice. Also we lived there for 2.5 years, my mom helped us look for an apartment so was there when we checked it out, a year later she’s randomly put on our lease after they started charging utilities per person, I contacted them about charging me 8 months of and extra person that they put on there without permission. The biggest part is the person they added (my mom) lives 18 hours away! All I was told was “oh we seen her name on your file and decided to add her”. Parking sucks, hope you don’t get off work too late or you’ll be driving around for 2 hrs for a spot, then once you finally find a spot the kids there will key you truck. 0/10 for my first time renting!"
