Reviews
"Been living here for a little while now and can say areas are well maintained, maintenance is responsive. Slight bug issues. Management is also nice and helpful."
"The front office is staffed by compulsive liars, and the management company Greystar is being sued by the AZ Attorney General for price fixing rents. EDIT: Their reply below is copy pasted to every negative review, and nobody ever answers the office phone."
"Mike from the maintenance man was excellent. He was very professional and he came in and fixed my issues very quickly and accurately. My fridge stopped working, and he was right at my door with a new one. Mike is one of the maintenance men that we can depend on. Very reliable and knowledgeable! Great job overall!"
"YOU WILL REGRET MOVING HERE. The website pictures are a joke, that isn't our gross, broken down laundry room. The property is filthy, dog waste and the smell of urine everywhere because people let dogs go to the bathroom wherever, and with open trash out 24/7. It's overrun by feral cats who get into the trash, all day and all night so you can't use Valet Trash but still have to pay $30 a month for it. Mgmt does not care and refuses to do anything to get rid of the cats or do anything about the trash and rotten food everywhere. Of course, now my apartment is infested with roaches. They DO NOT HAVE FILTERED WATER but they expect you to pay $30 a month for that too. The pool gate failed an inspection so instead of fixing it, our pool and grill area have been padlocked for months. The water is turned off, for hours, several times a week with no notice. The "amenities package" is a scam as is the utilities billing. There are so many units with multiple people but only one on the lease so single people, and/or honest ones, get screwed. There are no meters in units (even though the Asst Mgr told me to call and ask for my "usage" haha). They don't post your rent balance until the day it's due. I have my own renters insurance, verified by greystar, yet I get charged, every month, for a policy I never signed for and have never seen. They made me get rid of an outdoor bench and flowers but people have living room and broken office furniture out front, and the trash. THERE IS NO SECURITY! Any working cameras or gates are to protect their property, not ours. You will never get a straight, truthful answer to any question you ask staff, period. Oh, the website is right about having a stylish clubroom with a coffee bar for residents, unfortunately management uses it as the leasing office and there's no coffee."
"Looks nice on the outside, but from the inside, the laundry machines are often broken, the gates often have issues, and management hardly ever answers calls/emails. After all their unnecessary fees (mandated wifi, delivery service, valet trash, pest control, etc), I am paying $1,300 a MONTH for a studio apartment. The base rent was $925 until they add all the unnecessary charges. Pest control should come with living here and I still see roaches (and once saw a rat) outside the apartment. The back community of Crosstown West is always neglected and treated like second hand citizens. If you rent here, choose the front complexes, as they get all the new furniture, upkeeping, and pay $.25 less for laundry despite being the same community. We literally have the hand-me-down furniture of the front complex in our pool while they got all the new furniture, so it looks better in tours. Our laundry machines are constantly out of order or under construction. They offer a "24 hour security service" but they are never helpful nor do they follow up on concerns. Maintenance crew does what they can, but are only allowed to do what they are told, and whenever something does get fixed, it is at least 3 days until it is fully repaired. They recently did roof construction without notifying residents of the constant noise and hazard of falling materials for a week, then never fully picked up all the roof scraps. I feel like I am getting overcharged for being here. UPDATE 10/3/2023: Daniel in the front office is really helpful and doing what he can to get any and all concerns addressed. I appreciate the changes that are happening. Still super expensive though, but that's Phoenix."
