"Run as fast as you can. 1200 for a studio apartment. Children destroying amazon packages. Homeless people going through the dumpster. shoddy rotting cabinets and drawers. half functioning appliances and showers. the washers and dryers never work. EVER. I just had an issue where every tenant had a "glitch" in the system where their rent was asking for 600 extra dollars, and the same system glitched out last month as well. they told us to pay what we paid last time. i did exactly that. and after the fact they decided that i didnt pay enough even though i paid exactly what they told me to pay. if i wasnt tied to this lease id be packing my things right now. Absolutely terrible, predatory, and scummy. Please live ANYWHERE else"
"I really like it here coming back on Dec 11 to apply. Now that I moved in I love my apartment just got to get my doors fixed. The people here are very friendly and helpful. I love the people at the front desk they are very pleasant and friendly. I know I will be happy here. They have a gym and walking path along the lake that I’m going to take advantage of. Thank you Biltmore!!!"
"Look if your trying to move in and want info best I can tell you is to show up and pray they are there and not at some unannounced training. Don't bother calling they won't answer. You can leave a message but I'm certain they don't even listen to them. Out of the 3 faucets only 1 can manage cold water. Laundry room has 10 machines! But 8 are broken. Hope you arnt from out of town either cause they don't take money orders. I've been trying to speak with these people for weeks now and have had better luck contacting E.T. but they sent an email asking how my experience has been and hoping I'd leave a good Google review. So maybe just maybe they will see this and call me back."
"My air conditioner was failing for months, to the point where the noise coming from it resulted in threats from neighbors. I was told by management that they would not fix it so long as the fan turns on, and to call the police if it gets bad enough. I was told by the police that this was a landlord/civil issue, not a criminal issue and not their problem. I had to hire a plumber to fix the sink and dishwasher, as the dishwasher would not drain and the faucet kept burping air. I was told I was being lazy by maintenance for not fixing the dishwasher myself. They told me the mold growing in the dishwasher every 48 hours was normal, and to use bleach with my dishes. Hot water was shutoff repeatedly without warning, sometimes for over a week. Only one in every few shutoffs would they notify me. They would not respond to phone calls or emails in regards to this. The master key to my apartment was lost by management, and they did not tell me until there was a flood in the building, and their vendor couldn't get in. After the vendor couldn't get in for the third time, management told me they lost the key almost 8 months prior, which is why pest control wasn't able to enter my apartment. That also means management was unable to inspect the filters for the air conditioning fan and the smoke detectors, like they said they were legally required to do. Pests were so bad that if I turned off the lights and sat still at my couch or desk, roaches would climb up my legs. This drove me to no longer work from home as I did not feel comfortable. During the flood, they would not tell me the cause or an eta on repairs. The vendor they had called in to dry the water told me it was sewage, which is why it smelled so bad and was different shades of yellow/brown. When I asked management about getting the apartment sanitized, I was told it was only my neighbor's shower drain water and that it did not need sanitizing. Shower drain water is sewage/wastewater, and my upstairs neighbors had dogs they would have to clean in the shower. They emailed two days after I moved out, stating they are planning on fining me for cancelling my renter's Insurance when I moved out, instead of renewing for another year through their partner. If they fine me, I will be taking them to small claims court. They emailed me over a week after I had dropped off my keys, and roughly a week after the date I had to vacate, stating they did not have the keys and to email them after I dropped them off. Thankfully I signed paperwork when I dropped off the keys to corroborate that Biltmore had them."
