"I read the Google reviews before I visited the property. I went in with an open mind. I have to say that I am believing the bad reviews. A woman was complaining about something leaking that hadn't yet been fixed. The gates were wide open, so anyone can just walk in without any worry. The 1st floor apartments are right on the pathway, so very easy to try to break in. There is no elevator, and the stairwell seemed to move when you walked up and down them. I think the Google reviews are quite accurate."
"(This will be a very honest review) I have lived here for the last 3 months and I have enjoyed every second of it! Before I even provided any deposits Gail was the biggest help! She provided estimated cost sheets and didn’t mind providing us options. Now, it can be difficult reaching them by phone. But Gail made sure to keep great communication over email. Our move in process had some hiccups due to a different employee however, they did make accommodations for us and got us in on time. Our unit was a partial renovation so it had some bumps and scuffs but nothing that serious, especially with the price we are paying. Now, I have seen 3 roaches which with how big the complex is you can’t guarantee everyone will be clean. The complex provides pest control that come out to spray (my plan is charged in rent, under $10). After having them spray a few times and cleaning regularly I haven’t had much issues. I would not say this complex is infested. They have maintenance that are helpful and keep the place pretty clean. One thing that helped me choose this place is the office staff. It’s important to have people that care, it’s hard to find that now. I would recommend this place. I will update by the end of my lease."
"EDIT 11/06/23: Upon writing this review, I went in and spoke with the community manager David and he was incredibly understanding, honest, and willing to listen to me. Within two days our appliances were replaced (a big thank you to Gary as well). I also had a chance to follow up with David afterwards and again he extended his understanding and wanted to know if there was anything else he could help with. At this time our immediate issues have been resolved and I hope to continue to see the community improve and will update as these changes unfold. Original Review Follows: Seek elsewhere. Truly. I hate giving negative reviews, however this has gotten to a point where it is no longer even mildly acceptable. For the past several months, we have not had a working dryer. The pool is always gross. The fire extinguisher outside of our apartment was used but left unfilled for months. Trash is left in every hallway stinking up the hall. Dogs bark constantly (owners leaving them all day long out on the patio). Neighbors shout at night. The windows leak sound in. Our washer flooded. We have contacted the front office multiple times and have been given the run around. We have had a broken kitchen light for months. (The two women in the front office are wonderful, as are a lot of the maintenance people who are clearly breaking their backs) We have had No contact with anybody regarding any of this despite putting in multiple requests and emergency request. Dog poop everywhere. You will find homeless people loitering around. You will also find your neighbors getting called out of their houses by police (this has happened multiple times in our stay). Also lots of smoking and "shady activities" by neighbors in the early morning. There is no on site security. The Gates are constantly busted. The smart rent apartment system is so finicky. The parcel pending locker system is very frequently broken and packages will be undelivered or sent to local USPS warehouse where it will be sent back if not picked up. Make no mistake, there are some good people here. Kind families with wonderful kids. Workers who are up at 6 and always moving. The women in the office who are always willing to lend a smile and try to help you but this falls at the feet of the management. I am more than happy to change this review to talk about all of the changes that are made if they are ever made but at this point I am so disheartened. This could be a wonderful property. But at this time it is not."
"Stay away!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! David and his staff do not answer phone calls, return voicemails, or return emails. If you need something, you have to walk there in person to talk to someone. Then David is the only person that can help you. Everyone else in the office is completely useless. Never in my 10 years of apartment living life have I dealt with such unprofessionalism, inefficiency and lack of follow up/communication. They must’ve hired some unlicensed contractors to do these remodels. It’s absolute trash, the landlord special!! Front gates don’t lock, there’s actually no locks on some of the gates. And the gates that do have locks on them, the keys do not work, for anyone. Drive through gates don’t close ever, they’re always broken. There is gunshots weekly, and I fear for my life. There’s a homeless problem, drug problem, and theft problem here. I see people going around checking car doors and checking apartment doors trying to break in. I see people living in their cars here as well. Most of the maintenance team is extremely rude and unhelpful. They take weeks if not months to fix something and have an attitude while doing it. Gary, the new maintenance supervisor is a complete narcissist. It’s dog poop and trash city here. No one picks up their dogs poop and the dumpsters are always overflowing. There’s just trash all throughout the community in the streets, and in the hallways. My windows and window screens have been broken since I moved in. Didn’t have a working dryer for 6 weeks. This dryer was burning my clothes and the dryer sheets. A complete fire hazard! The one that they replaced was not new, it was used and it had been sitting outside because it was filthy and this one hasn’t worked properly 3 months later. My refrigerator also didn’t work, and when they went to fix it, it took them 6 times in 2 weeks to figure it out. They destroyed the laminate flooring, which took 4 weeks to be replaced. All the fire extinguishers around the complex expired in October 2022. Water shut off scheduled for 7/27 – Never happened, but 7/28 the water was shut off all day. Water shut off 7/31, no notice. Water shut off twice on 8/1, no notice. Various random water shut offs with no notifications, about 11 times now in the 5 months I’ve lived here. I understand there is emergencies, but an email takes 2 minutes or less to send. The clubhouse pool was out of order for several months during the beginning of summer, March to July. It would be fixed for a day or two and then broken again. The pool in the back of the complex was closed for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks in June. Pools are usually very dirty, cloudy and/or green. The pool furniture and umbrellas are falling apart. Or whatever they have left furniture and umbrellas. The smart home is not smart, it’s absolutely terrible. This was installed 4/28 and it malfunctions all the time. The doors unlocked themselves. The thermostat is never accurate or doesn’t work so you have to reset it all the time. The app never connects. There’s daily dumpster divers. Multiple cars have been stolen from the parking lot. The package lockers they have malfunction every week and were closed for a month in June. If your packages don’t get stolen from the carrier pretending to put them in the lockers, they will be stolen from your door."
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. David is the worst apartment manager I’ve ever had to deal with. I’ve tried to go in and talk with him, or call & he never returns my calls. He just sends Gail (who I can tell cares, but doesn’t have the power to do what needs to be done). I’ve lived here for 2 years now, over the course of 2 summers I’ve put countless maintenance requests in because my AC doesn’t work properly. It never has. This summer it’s hot as hot as 86 degrees inside, all while the AC is set anywhere from 75-78. It warms up all day, then literally takes all night to cool back off & I’ve been stuck with paying a $300-$400 electric bill for a 1,000 sq ft apartment. My mom’s electric bill for her 2,500 sq ft home with 2 AC units doesn’t get this high. My photos show how long the AC takes to actually cook the apartment back down. It’s insane for the small space I’m in. Somehow the management has money & found it necessary to repaint the parking lot this summer, but can’t replace AC units that clearly need to be replaced. There are so many apartments with units that don’t work or have gone completely out, it’s ridiculous. 0/10 do not recommend living here. Not to mention the pool is always dirty, the hot tub has never worked, the maintenance guys sit on their golf carts all day on their phones, but ignore requests that have been put in for a month or longer. We pay a Valet trash fee for them to come maybe twice a week, not even on the days they’re supposed to come. The gym is never locked, so I don’t feel safe going there, the gates are always broke and the remote they gave me for the gate never works anyway. Overall, it’s been a terrible experience living here. Very cheaply ran by management whom clearly doesn’t care about the residents here."
