"Awesome environment and friendly neighborhood! My apartment needs maintenance work done, but other that my fiance and I are happy with our apartment."
"Love the management team but the roach problem is horrible especially in the spring/summer. Already have had roach treatment twice. The last one being a couple weeks ago. And they just won’t stop crawling out of no where. Getting ready for work this morning and have found 4 roaches today. My partner used to be an exterminator so she asked the bug guy what kind of product he was using to control this problem and found out he wasn’t using the proper products. No wonder it’s not working. We managed to take care of the issue ourselves which does help out. But considering we are only doing our home. They still end up coming back throughout the whole complex. I hate to leave a bad review but if you cannot stand roaches! I definitely don’t recommend living here! Which is unfortunate because everything else is great!!! Just wish we had a different bug company or had people who knew what they were doing it :("
"Having visited Monterrra Luxury Apartments twice to drop off my belongings, I've encountered a few initial issues. Despite not officially moving in yet, I've already noticed two pests and found the apartment not entirely move-in ready. Additionally, there seems to be a discrepancy with the walk-in cost, a broken window, a missing piece of baseboard, and a malfunctioning fridge and much more. However, I pride myself on being honest and fair in my assessments. The office staff, particularly Shymeil, has been responsive to my concerns, and I'm hopeful they'll address these issues promptly. Maintenance response time seems a bit slow, which may be expected during move-in periods. My old lease expires today, so I'll soon experience living here full-time and will update my review accordingly if my experience improves."
"Barely had new management for a week and they’re already taking away amenities that attracted us. No more 24 hr fitness or pool, which interferes with my availability since my work hours only allow me to use these features in the time frame they now closed them for. Should be offering a small discount for the amenities they’re removing. Not only that, but they’re being strict about patios and who knows what else at this rate. This is all that was going for these apartments. The units aren’t even clean. They do the “renters special” by painting white paint over everything including tub and sinks. They have tape in all cracks with roach feces. And it did nothing for stopping them. Had to treat them ourselves, but will be an issue forever since I’m sure the surrounding units have them. Appliances are more than outdated. Cabinets are falling apart. Dryer isn’t even connected so drying clothes all the ventilation is inside. No cold water. Have never been able to use the dishwasher, they didn’t clean it before move in so we tested it and it clogged with a ton of gross black gunk. So to remove amenities that are attractive, especially for people with odd hours, it’s not worth the rest of it. AVOID!"
"Had my AC break on Sunday Night, went Monday morning into the office. Maintenance was at my apartment with in 20 mins fixing the issue with in another 15 mins. Carlos and Jonathan were very helpful and polite when entering the home and had my apartment cooled downed with in an hour of reporting the issue. July 22nd Cars park in our parking space called tow turns out that service isn’t available so people can park in any spot and it wouldn’t make a difference because the towing wasn’t available they have my pregnant wife walking Eder cause our spot taking We tried switching units and their “ready to move in unit” was falling apart with roaches and missing knobs handles sink appliances and the place was filthy."
