Reviews of The Atrium at Arrowhead
"We have an office in The Atrium and I just wanted to compliment the entire team here. Joyce and Cheryl are always so friendly and nice. The other members of the team do a great job keeping the property looking great. Overall, they do a great job taking care of their tenants and we really appreciate them!"
"This place has a really nice atrium it's really pleasant to go there and listen to the water go through the creek. Lobby here is always clean and neat. The building has bathrooms are in a unique location far away from any central point. Parking can be a challenge seemingly because most spots seem to be resevred. It is very close to Arrowhead Mall which makes a convenient if you have shopping and an appointment to go to. All in all this is a nice office complex in the middle of the Arrowhead area."
"Beautiful offices and great environment i see my therapist there and i cant speak for the rest of the people but she is great and the place suits her peaceful personality!"
"Very pretty. Nice sounds of water and birds. But there's nowhere to sit on the upper levels, at least not that I've seen. I wouldn't mind sitting outside the office while I wait for my appointment."
"My husband went on my behalf to inquire about renting a room for my business. He spoke to a woman by the name of Ashely. My husband said this was one of the few times he genuinely believes that he was judged based on his darker skin tone, as he felt like Ashley's demeanor totally changed once he told her he was interested in renting. She immediately told him he wasn't able to afford their rent. Ashley had no idea how much my husband and I make, nor the success of my business. She continued to give excuses as to why we couldn't rent. From saying we were too poor to afford them, to our customers not being the type of people she wanted seen walking around The Atrium. Funnily enough, most of my customers are the exact type of people who rent there currently. Medical professionals, those in sales such as insurance and more. I decided on my own to call in to ask about renting after my husband told me how she kept trying to discourage him from wanting to rent there. When I first emailed, then called (at Ashley's request) about setting up a tour, her tone immediately changed once I told her what I did and she realized who I was. She said she researched my business and it wasn't a good fit for The Atrium. If she had in fact researched, she would have realized that we could easily afford the rent there. She also kept mentioning other careers and how I wasn't licensed in them and so wasn't supposed to work. (Think along the lines of if she refused to rent to a massage therapist for not being a registered nurse. They have absolutely nothing to do with each other, other than both dealing with the body). I kept pointing out that what I do was not the jobs she kept mentioning, and I wasn't sure why she kept bringing them up. Finally, she once again (which seemed to be her end point) she didn't want my customers associated with The Atrium. When I asked her why, and what about my customers she felt would portray a bad image (I am now going to rent from a medical complex, and they had no issue whatsoever) Ashley become very flustered and said she did not have the time to answer. That I would need to contact her at a later time, and suggested email. So that's exactly what I did. I emailed her asking why my customers were not welcome, and she felt would would present a poor image for her business. She ignored my email. If she did not want to rent to us that is one thing, but to assume we are too poor, and then insult my customers is another. And again, it was quite ironic that the very customers she kept saying she didn't want walking around The Atrium are the very people she rents the other rooms too. It is unfortunate that Ashley lacked professionalism, and it is also unfortunate that my felt like her denying us was in part due to his race. This is the first time in our years of being together he has told me he feels he was treated a certain way due to that, and I'm sad this happened. Hopefully my husband was wrong in feeling like Ashley treated us the way she did because of him, but with all the odd reasoning she had I'm not sure what else it could have been."
