"This place was cute and great until Decron took over. The front desk lady Sophia is less than helpful and consistently has a negative attitude. Upon move out they charged me for drip pans for an oven/stove that doesn't even work, when I asked for a new oven I was told I could get one if I agreed to pay and extra $50 a month on my lease. Steer clear of Tammron they will scam you."
"I moved here in September. RUDE & judgmental office staff, and they never have justifiable answers to questions even during the application process and leasing process. They make the environment VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and there are NO WELCOME BASKETS AS STATED DURING MY TOUR… I see why now. This is supposed to be a GATED LUXURY COMPLEX… Luxury?? NOT EVEN CLOSE FOR THE PRICE! The gates stay open every day and the keypad is broken! Why even have gates with a code when anyone (vagrants included) can access the property by the walkways? Car break-ins aren’t taken seriously by staff. Work orders take WEEKS to get to after calling and walking into the office several times even after speaking with management. The inside of my “new” apartment STILL NEEDS REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - cracks, holes.. cabinet finishings are torn, dried out, and coming off, bedroom doors stick so you have to slam them shut, hot water not consistent, a/c & heat only work in part of the apartment, water access issues. If you have a section 8 voucher or need any type of government assistance. This place IS NOT SAFE for anyone who has/is escaping abuse to start a new, violence-free life individually or with children. Staff and management pass out 10-Day Notices and 5-Day notices by text messages & REFUSE to give it to you on paper and also WITHOUT even speaking with all parties involved BEFORE issuing anything legal. TRAINING IS A PRIORITY FOR THIS LOCATION of Decron Properties."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE. I didn’t know “luxury apartments” came with roaches and would have maintenance take a YEAR to fix our roof that got damaged during monsoon season. Trying to communicate with the office was useless. Anytime my roommates and I reached out about concerns, it took days for a reply.. IF they replied. Apartment gate NEVER worked. We once got an email from the office because there was a resident who literally was smearing POOP on people’s doors & in the hallways. People NEVER pick up after their dogs. There was NEVER any parking available. I’d move to the apartments they just built across the street."
"I’m having to use a friend’s account because I don’t feel comfortable putting my identity here, I was going to post this until I left this complex, but I’d rather save hard feelings & disappointment to people who come across this complex. If they tell you you’re going to pay a certain amount, expect over $200 more than what they say. We were told we would be paying a certain amount adding taxes and utilities and we are paying 1900!! And it’s not a 3 bd. The area is not bad, but there has been Theft here, the people that live here are nice. The office people don’t really make it welcoming as you’d like, they have an attitude for no reason, even when you’re asking a simple question until they see you’re not there for something negative they act softer towards you. This complex is not Luxury whatsoever, so I don’t know why they use that “Luxury” claim, everything is pretty old and a lot of their bathrooms are stained like other reviews say. Our bathrooms weren’t even cleaned and seemed used and toilets not scrubbed. Maintenance does take a long time and one time they didn’t show up for an order I put in.. They also don’t let you know when they’re coming so you can be doing something and they’re trying to open the door, communication would be useful, but they are really good people and are really helpful. I forgot to add that during the summer they charged us way more for two months because they “filled” up the Pool twice, how si that our fault? What we pay is not enough for the community that you have to pay even more for these kinds of things? Ridiculous. I feel this complex is over priced for what they have to offer, hopefully you have a better experience here if you choose tamarron, but I definitely see where people come from about this being a complex you run away from after your lease."
"Tamarron apartments WAS a great community to live in when my fiancé and I moved in in September of 2020. That is the ONLY reason I gave an extra star. However, since the apartment was acquired by the California based company Decron Properties, it took a turn for the worse. I can’t emphasize enough how terrible these new owners are. A two bedroom apartment was, after all taxes and charges, $1505 per month for a 12 month lease. The base rent price has increased to $2111 in just 3 years. And has any of that money gone towards improving or beautifying the property ? Of course not. All that was done to “improve” the property is painting the once beautiful adobe colored buildings an ugly grey and pea soup vomit green. They have not even fixed their gate which has been broken for years, honestly. Meanwhile, the suits running Decron are laughing all the way to the bank. Just shameless. Decron Properties has the audacity to impose California prices on us, but they have done nothing to improve the condition of the property to justify their outrageous increases. Raising prices and giving back nothing may make sense in California but it’s completely idiotic to think that would work here in Arizona. Another asine decision that was made was to get rid of the apartment cats. Tamarron once had a wonderful collection of cats around the apartment. New management told the residents that any cat houses or cat bowls left in front of the resident doors would be disposed of. And they were. And over the course of the year, nearly all the cats have disappeared. The cold and corporate Decron Properties never understood the spirit of this community, and that’s why Tamarron’s ratings have taken a nosedive since the acquisition. And it’s why they will continue to fall. Decron Properties doesn't understand that, and I'm hard pressed to think they ever will so long as they keep raking in money. Bottom line ? If you are looking to pay exorbitant prices for a “luxury” apartment that’s devoid of the luxury and charm, then come live here. Personally, you’d fare better at any other apartment complex in this area. Just be sure it is an apartment that is NOT owned and managed by Decron Properties."
